I think the problem with Jansen is that he is poor with runners on, so they have avoided using him in extra innings. Of course, knowing that, they could have used him in the ninth, but if he gave it up again, after yesterday, there would be howls coming from most of us (including, probably, me).
Of course, we know now that Rodriguez is on the IL AGAIN.
I was there Friday and today. A couple of comments on the park and the fans. Giants fans are great. Passionate and knowledgeable, at least the ones we interacted with.
Tolerant for the most part to Red Sox fans. I love that park. Fantastic views of the city and the bay. Lots of character. Good food. We try to make it to every Sox series.
It might be my favorite park.
Its a great venue for baseball. I don't go as much as I should for a variety of reasons relating to the commute/parking but everyone should take in a game there if they have a chance.
Without a doubt the most beautiful MLB ballpark in America. PNC is a close second.
My younger brother and his 13 year old son have been to all but six ballparks (they still have to get to Arlington, Colorado, Kansas City, Minnesota, St. Louis, and Seattle), and I believe that's how they have them rated this far: Oracle Park first, with PNC second.
I am lucky enough to live within walking distance to this park (~20 minutes or so) and I always enjoy watching games there.

What we need is a more consistent offense. Every time we score 4 or more, we are more likely to win than most other teams. When we score 3 or fewer we are more likely to lose than others. We just lost 2 in a row where we pitched well but scored 3 and 2 runs.
Devers can really help the team by being more consistent himself.

I agree, a great ballpark with great fans. I go to see the Sox play the A's most years (not this year, don't blame me for that series!) and the contrast between Oracle and the Coliseum is night and day. Probably objectively the best and worst ballparks in MLB. I've been out here for 20 years and have adopted the Giants as my second team. I go to 5 or 6 (non Red Sox) Giants games each year and root for the Giants. But nothing is better than seeing the Sox play in Fenway.
This post tracks with my experience out here. Root for the Giants (when not playing the Sox) and that ballpark makes it incredibly easy to be a fan. The sight lines, the backdrop, the gulls and the smell of the Bay, the amenities and the crowd make watching baseball live a pleasure. There is no experience like the Fens though. Its not the best stadium but its absolutely the best place to experience baseball.

Same for me. Been in San Francisco for a little over 7 years, and we got in with a good group to split some season tickets. Going to Oracle is fun. I root for the Giants when they are not playing the Red Sox.
I just really enjoy Oracle—great views, good food, and when I watch from home - a good announcing crew.
