I suppose it's uncatchable when the defender is literally grabbing his arm.

What a terrible, terrible non-call

Wish Gillette was like seattle's stadium. I really think it helps in these games with the calls

The now rarely called uncatchable, and this time on a ball that was very catchable if he wasn't interfered with on the play.

I hope NFL Films has audio on that refs' huddle.

I'm not a lip reader but I think it went something like: "Brad, we're not going to the Super Bowl after this , are we?" "No, guys, I don't think we are. That fucking Hochuli better not get it though."

BB is correct, all plays should be able to be reviewed. That uncatchable call was brutal.

Here
What a stupid fucking subjective ejection rule.

Second call on Boldin was weak.

Looked like most of the Seattle OL left early on that screen pass but no call.

Have to wonder if part of the reason the officiating has been terrible in both games is because they break up the regular season crews and use mixed up groupings for the playoffs.

I've never understood this theory. Don't most penalties come down to the call of a single official?

Have to wonder if that is a part of the reason for other things too.

Well some of the issues in game 1 was inconsistency, which can come from different crews having different feels on what should be let go. The worst one tonight was uncatchable, which could be a disagreement on what to call, or hesitancy to call something.

It is worth remembering how clutch that crew was on both those calls. Getting those right in Yankee Stadium pre-replay? Hats off to em.

I still can't believe they got those calls right. I'm just old enough to have experienced 86, among other Red Sox setbacks, and we NEVER got those breaks/calls for so so long.

In the end Detroit had no business winning this game, but refs made it a 2 possession final margin instead of 1.
