I predicted it, but now I'm doubtful KC can go to Denver and get it done. So yes, I'll be rooting for Pittsburgh.
I dunno. I think Manning might actually die on the field against the KC defense. Their offense might not do much, but if they're constantly getting short fields, they won't have to.

I think KC is probably the worst matchup for DEN. I'm not sure if it's PIT or KC for NE.

No, their broadcasting year is done.
That's what I figured he was talking about, but the way he said, "I'm going to miss you" made it sound as if he was done. I suppose I should learn not to listen to his words too closely. It's probably contagious.

The thing is, especially with Macklin done, Denver can just win ugly. You tell Manning -- wounded ducks and forced throws get your ass pulled from the game. It is not about you, period.

So they basically play the same kind of game as KC, and because they are better and at home, they win.

Chiefs are the worst matchup for the Pats too. My allegiances tonight are obvious (Steelers' fan), but I'm surprised Pats' fans aren't unanimously behind Cincy tonight.

Yup. I bet it would be like those mid 2000s Colts/Ravens games where the Chiefs def does well but the off can't score at all and Manning wins ugly, like 16-13.

I am; KC is the type of team that could wreck the Patriots next weekend. Gotta win that game first.

Go f*ck yourself
If anyone can kindly direct me to the first post when Watt lined up in the backfield for the direct snap. I'm going to assume it will be very entertaining reading.

AJ McCarron or a rusty Dalton or KC?

Pats D should be more than ok with either of Cincy's QBs.

Both KC and Cincy D's are good.
But would rather play the iffy QBs of Cincy than KC .

Go Cincy

I'm not all that impressed with KC - especially without a deep threat like Maclin.
Should we really be all that impressed with pounding a terrible Texans team led by a much concussed mediocre QB like Hoyer?
If Cinci wins that means they beat a pretty good Steelers team and are fine without Dalton.
Cinci has a great D and tall receivers that will be tough to cover.

The cradle of the game.
As a Pats fan, if I don't see a dominant PIT, I'm rooting for CIN with copious injuries. I think that's how I'm approaching this.

Worst case scenario would be a sloppy, banged up PIT eke out a win vs. CIN

I'm definitely pulling for Cincinnati. The KC defense is downright scary. They should have beat Denver both times this year and I wouldn't be surprised if they win next week at Mile High and give the Pats home field advantage in the AFC Championship. I bet if you ask a Bronco fan, they'd prefer to play Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh has a better chance of knocking Denver out than KC does.
In 2 games vs. Denver this year, Maclin went:

4/57
3/17

In the latter game, KC won. I think they can still beat Denver without Maclin.

I'd like to agree, but football, unlike baseball, isn't a game of individual matchups, more of a domino effect. Assuming Maclin's out, then who else does Denver cover, maybe Kelce? The ripple effect would be fairly significant, across Smith's various reads, plays, and in turn, their availability. Next man up applies, but I'm not sold on the Chiefs' receiving depth. I mean, beyond Kelce and Maclin, would you really trust an Albert Wilson to come up in a somewhat material role for you next round?

As for me, I'd much prefer Pittsburgh; worried Dalton would be back at near full-strength next round, plus the aforementioned Maclin effect.

As far as gingers go, Dalton is a fairly normal looking one.

I fear my oldest son will never look like a normal human.
