I'm not sure if he actually admitted he did it personally. I believe he was talking in generalities about the team doing it. But I wasn't listening closely.

I also don't know what brought it up. I was just listening to the crossover and nothing on T&R so I don't know what prompted it

I think they mentioned something about a peep hole and Zo jumped into his story.

You don’t think it’s gross and fireable to joke about invading other people’s privacy by watching them naked? Who cares how long ago it was, unless he’s saying he’s changed since then and now regrets his actions.
The most egregious part, for me, is that he claimed the women enjoyed being leered at.

Listening via my car radio today, it sounded like Zo casually dropped an F-bomb which went out over the airwaves.

watching this show a littie it seems they give more freedom for their callers to talk
I haven't been listening to any sports radio but I imagine they are all giving their callers a lot of time to talk over the last few months. There's nothing to talk about.

They typically do let callers go longer, especially the ones who are completely lost or nonsensical so they can mock them.

i really enjoy b&z, imo they have zero problem laughing at themselves and talk about a wide breadth of subjects, not just sports. it's a pleasant contrast to f&m who even in these zero sports times just grind sports, sports, sports

This segment with people calling in and playing musical instruments may be the stupidest thing I've ever heard and it's amazing. It should be awful, it is awful, but it's funny.

The simulcast has become my only sports talk listening (viewing) during my WFH induced isolation. For the most part, they’re not irrationally angry or doing hot take schtick. Hardy’s a genuine talent and they seem to have fun, while treating the 2020 invasion of real world issues into the sports bubble with thoughtfulness.

I think this show is a good example of the importance of putting together a right mix of people for a show to work, you want people who are different but seem to enjoy each other's company.I don't recall how much Hardy was on during the Gresch years but he's a good balance to Zo. When he's being Zo, they can counter balance it with humor

Dale and Keefe is a bad example

Zo v Hardy is always good radio

A few months ago they were talking about Zo's dog not having to pee in the middle of the night

Zo: Best $2500 I ever spent
Hardy: ...to get the reinforced bladder model included with the dog?
Zo: No that's how much I spent on the dog

I don't know why but I lost it there. I love Hardy, but I'm insanely sarcastic and have a dry humor

I know people hate Adam Jones, but with Beetle out it's Hardy, Zo & Jones. I could listen to Jones doing John Henry all day.

Beetle's wife was involved in a serious hit & run car accident by a drunk firefighter from East Bridgewater earlier this week & Zolak's been off the air after testing positive for Covid-19 for the last week and a half. Crappy week for the 10-2 gang

I don't think he was a truther, but he had plenty of tweets about going to restaurants/ bars in Rhode Island and "living your life" and also that Mass should be opening things up.

Isn't that a definition without a difference?? Care to explain the distinction?
I would categorize a truther as someone who refuses to wear masks (they don't work!!11) or says that Covid is "just the flu" and this is all a hoax.

Zo advocating that people should be allowed to go out for dinner is not that.

My impression is that Zo's politics align pretty closely with a recently impeached and hopefully soon to be former-president. And he was advised that politics and sports may not mix well in the 10-2 slot.

Honestly i don't think Zo gives one shit about politics. A large amount of Americans don't at all.

I don't think he gives politics a lot of thought, nor do I think he particularly thoughtful, but that's my take-away from the guy from some of his general comments over the past few years. And he's entitled to have whatever political opinion he'd like My recollection is Beetle has reined him in if he thought Zo might venture too far into controversial territory..

If you follow him on Twitter there are times where you'll definitely pick up on his political affiliation. Particularly around the elections. But he keeps it to a minimum. Think he's very much a live and let live kind of guy.

Yeah, actually he does, or did. He's (bare!y) bright enough not to hitch his wagon to T-Rump's apron strings these days. But, early on in the Trump Dumpster presidency, BoZo was a clear Trumpy .Long before that, he vilified the then Dixie Chicks/now The Chicks for their disavowal of Bush 2 on the air.

I always took him for the “I have enough money to worry about Democrats taking it all but not smart enough to know they won’t.” type of republican.

So earlier this week Brady's Father called Beetle and Zo and was saying about how he saw the schedule and is looking forward to the game on October 3rd, he said New England is his second favorite team and Boston is their second home, but he thinks his Son and Tampa will "Beat the Patriots handily"....................

I'll defer to other members here, but has there ever been a more anticipated/hyped regular season NFL game than this one?

Not sure it's wise for the Father to write checks with his mouth that his Son now has to cash, but we'll see what happens.

This "Tom Brady's revenge match up" is a bit much, is it not; revenge for what?

Isn't it apparent that after 20 years together, he and Belichick had had enough of each other, it's not like he was traded or kicked to the curb, he wanted a multi year contract at a certain dollar amount, which he's entitled to ask for, the Patriots declined, which they are entitled to do.

Both parties moved on and he then went on to win a Super Bowl with his new team; good for him.

Thanks Tom for the memories and for the 6 SB titles, best of luck to you in Tampa.

I think the TB12 v BB angle will drive the hype for this game to HOT TAKE HEAVEN.

As to most anticipated regular season (or any time) I always looked forward to the TB12 Peyton games (Colts or Broncos)

As an aside I imagine Peyton's return to Indy falls into this category, but screw him and the Colt or Bronco he rode in on.

As a further aside this should probably be broken out in the BBtL-Pats forum

Thanks for the reply and I agree, this is only the beginning as far as the hype, imagine the week leading up to the game and what that will be like.

I wasn't sure where to put it, I thought the Beetle/Zolak thread would be best.

The four hours straight with them ragging on Zolak calling out of work because his 27 year old water heater died today was fantastic.
