MYRTLE BEACH!!!!
Are we going to talk about Peyton's arm strength fading before our eyes or are we just going to act like he's putting air under it for a reason.

I don't know how far behind my feed is, but I think Sanders got that first toe down and then the second, for a crazy sideline catch.

The probabilities were close to break-even there (assuming you think they only had a 30-40% chance to convert), so I'm sympathetic to the argument that you couldn't tolerate having a 90-yard drive that resulted in no points.
I think it's more than you're playing Denver and need the points down 14. Then you factor in field position, and I think going for it is the right call.

Been that way for 3 years, but, like Rivers, it goes where it needs to.

I'm sensing that it's off even more the last few weeks. But I'm going to keep an eye on it. Sanders had to drag his feet because the ball was late. Some balls just seem a tick off to me.

There is not enough money in the world to make me watch Tony Dungy speak about this event.

Elway would still cart him out in a wheelchair to throw up a jump ball to Julius.

I'm not sure why people are upset over this, even as Pats fans. This record is well-deserved, and personally I'm happy to have Peyton hold it rather than Favre. I don't think the guy who has the TD record should also have the record for most INT's. It just cheapens it.

Edit:

That being said, I'm rooting hard for an epic 2nd half collapse.

I like that they "would not be surprised if Peyton called a run play". Anyone who has watched him play, knows he would never call a run play when he has a meaningless personal statistic in his sights.

Nobody is upset over the record itself.  It's the fucking overwrought, contrived circus surrounding it that's vomit-inducing.  This went from a milestone zero people had on their radars a month ago to a fucking TRANSCENDENT RECORD by tonight.

EDIT - Let me put it this way: I tuned in to watch a football game.  I'm instead getting Peyton Manning and Archie's home movies, complete with Al and Cris with their dicks out.
