Wow, I hesitate to use this strong a description, but that was nearly Butt-fumble-esque.

BO'B was veins-bulging furious at that ref.  You could easily make out "Are you fucking KIDDING me?" and various other obscenities on the TV feed.

It's amusing, but I'm not sure that such blatant disrespect and contempt to the officiating crew is something we want to be passively allowing - anywhere in sports, not just the NFL.  Yeah it wasn't a great call, but I've seen worse.  A momentary, instinctual reaction is one thing, but a 30-second expletive-filled tirade is just not fucking professional.

Indy should challenge it now and get the 12 men on the field penalty.

CBS is going to get fined by the FCC for not pixelating that.

It happens all the time, especially in the NBA.

And it was a TERRIBLE call.

You're kidding, right?
Maybe I'm blind.....I still never saw where the ball hit the turf it looked to me that his arm was under the ball and it never shifted.

Indy should challenge, he was at least a half yard short.

edit: damn you Nantz, I said it first.

After another replay, I can see where you're coming from. Sorry for the dickish response. I do think it popped loose and skidded on the ground a bit though.

That was a pretty obvious fumble.  I dunno what Mike Carey was looking at.

Mike Carey is much better than his cohort on Fox, correct?

Looked like to me it came out and he secured it against the ground.

He thought it was obvious? I'm sure the NFL will be happy that its broadcast partner says agame was wrongly decided because of an obvious bad call.

The Texans have some amazing D players, but boy are they shitty at tackling.

No worries. Heat of moment I can and have been inadvertently dickish at times myself.

I always thought it had to be clear evidence to overturn which I didn't see.

Maybe I'm being too harsh, but doesn't it seem like safety play across the league is at an all-time low? I feel like there is a real lack of competent players back there, and a hell of a lot of bad players starting.

I still can't believe ten teams passed on Watt in the '11 draft.  Think the Jaguars would rather have Watt than Gabbert right now?
