That's fair.  I actually didn't remember them finishing 12-4, I just remembered them starting 6-4 and going into the playoffs I feel like I remember they weren't expected to do much, having to go into Green Bay.
A bullshit roughing the passer call cost them the game vs. New Orleans and therefore the division later on. Would have been totally different if they hosted the NFC CG.

Here
One of the Rams ran free up the middle and the Center grabbed his fucking jersey and got spun and no flag.

Someday, I hope we get a good story about why Brandon Lloyd is considered strange.

Fisher is 15-20-1 with the Rams, soon to be 21 losses. With alll these high draft picks, when is this clown going to get canned.

The Rams D has made key stop after key stop in the 4th quarter so far. Pretty impressive.

On the flip side, San Fran has done an abysmal job putting this one away. Going for it on 4th twice was fine, but the playcalls in both cases were terrible, particularly the goal-line play.

That invisible OPI call against the Rams in the first half really changed the momentum of the game. StL gets some points out of that drive, it might set the Niners back on their heels.

Instead, SF gets the Lloyd touchdown and the ball back after half and it's a different game

In terms of impact, that call reminded me so much of the one against Troy Brown in the AFC title game against the Colts.

I don't know about canned, but any other team allows that Lloyd TD in those circumstances and the entire coaching staff gets lit up.

But not Jeff Fisher, whose balls are always squeaky clean.
