Not sure what DPI is anymore, but I know one thing - it is 100% not called consistently game to game and week to week. That is just a poor call against Carolina.

Can you explain why? I saw another team earlier today go for 2 instead of kicking the XP to get to within 7. I can understand why you would want to go for 2 when down by 9, but it seems crazy to me to go for 2 there when it's really not advantageous. That’s the analytical play.
Throws like that suggest otherwise.Man, Baker is going to be out of this league in 2 years.
These things - prioritizing the strategic actions that are net optimal by the numbers divorced from other contextual factors, and accounting for those contextual factors when making a decision - aren’t mutually exclusive. Can you explain why? edit: eh, I looked up some articles on it, but I don't really buy it. It all really comes down to the team's strengths and weaknesses, not analytics.
I thought I read online only Brady gets that call.Jesus there are some bad roughing calls today
they need to try to win the game not tie the gameDisagree with the announcers in Arizona. It’s not a game-breaking play if Kyler picks up a couple more yards; he’s right to give himself up there. And the kicker needs to make that kick.
I think this is the same Amendola the Jets cut. He is not long for this league.Cleveland misses a kick at the end.
Arizona misses a kick at the end.
You gotta hit your kicks.
under 30 seconds left with no timeouts outside the red zone, the #1 thing is to make sure you can fall back on a makeable FG.they need to try to win the game not tie the game
With a backup kicker who sucks?under 30 seconds left with no timeouts outside the red zone, the #1 thing is to make sure you can fall back on a makeable FG.
It's the same guy KC cut two weeks ago when he missed a PAT and a 34 yarderI think this is the same Amendola the Jets cut. He is not long for this league.
What is worse?Missing a 43 yarder is unacceptable, Murray not knowing where the sticks are and sliding before getting a 1st is inexcusable.
He lost the game for the Chiefs against the Colts.I think this is the same Amendola the Jets cut. He is not long for this league.
I assumed big D is Dallas. Did I make an ass out of myself? Not looking good
I mean... yes? He's still an NFL kicker. It's not like it's a position player. With a backup kicker who sucks?
The giving himself up wasn't necessarily the bad play. They should have had 2 plays called in huddle and not had to spike it.Disagree with the announcers in Arizona. It’s not a game-breaking play if Kyler picks up a couple more yards; he’s right to give himself up there. And the kicker needs to make that kick.
Take your pick. I’m an Eagles fan and was having flashbacks to the Jake Plummer. What is worse?
Unacceptable or inexcusable?
Your assumption is correct.I assumed big D is Dallas. Did I make an ass out of myself?
Higgins hurt his existing ankle injury againReally quiet night for Chase/Higgins
Who?That INT by Burrow looked like a copy of Macs against the Ravens
