So beyond hating the Stillers

Are we rooting for SD because we have h2h and if Pitt wins they are now 6-3-1?

I mean we are winning the division, but hypothetically

The Stillers are on that short list of teams that can't lose enough

From a pure playoff seeding perspective, it hardly matters. Only thing I can think of is we have tiebreaker vs chargers no matter what; we currently have tiebreaker (conference record) vs Steelers, but that could change, so maybe root for chargers? Hard to say it really matters tho

It's close but I think Asante Samuel Jr still makes me feel older than 60-year-old Steve Young does.

I always think it’s funny when QBs pumpfake during a scramble ten yards past the line

Theres an argument for rooting for the Chargers and maintaining a shot at the division and having the Chiefs drop to a lower seed and taking away their potential home game

Also true. Thing is, arguments based on stuff like that, or based on Steelers maybe ending up with a tie breaker against us, are kind of ridiculous this early in the season. I want the Chargers to win because I hate the Steelers, and that’s pretty much it

The Steelers don’t have a good rushing offense, but they seem to be a franchise that media types reflexively assume can always run the ball and rush the passer.

For those of us who could not recall holding ever being called against the defense on a running play when it was called on ATL on Thursday, it was just called on LAC a few plays ago.
The Pats got called for it a couple of years ago. Can’t remember the game though.
