Williams is a lottery-level talent, a player with immense talent. If he can show a commitment to playing hard, this could be a steal of the first-round. ESPN's @Mike_Schmitz compares him to another 27th overall pick: Clint Capela.

Good value on paper. But does he fit with Stevens' offense?

They have a strong enough locker room and organization to hopefully overcome any off court issues, and hopefully he comes in with a chip on his shoulder. Surprised they went for the homerun vs the certainty of a cost controlled rotation player but I trust the talent evaluation and he has a ton of upside. If he hits he’s a perfect fit long term as a defensive anchor.
