This is fun! And useful. Like it that Masa gives his name in the Japanese style of family name first (Yoshida Masataka).

I've seen similar things on some college sports sites. It's not a separate page, but it's on their profile page.

In this case thought, THANK GOD ZACK KELLY DID THIS.

Clean-cut Triston Casas looks like somebody and it's been driving me nuts for ages.

Pretty cool! I've been mispronouncing Masataka with the accent on the third syllable. Bobby Dalbec's 2nd pronunciation is kinda funny...

That's important when you have a revolving door of players and fans don't have any connection to the majority of them.

Shrewd move!

That's neat. The biggest challenge is reproducing the rolled "r" of the Hispanic names. It's so elegant but doesn't come naturally to the English tongue without seeming like a parody.

Late to the party, but for me it's definitely

I'm hoping they will expand this to the minor leagues. Portland has had a SoundCloud of players saying their names but I would love to see something formal system-wide. Would be a nice complement to the movement to use diacritical marks accurately on jerseys, in reporting etc.
