I dunno, the Niners offense featured some of the best designed run plays in the league for the first few years that Roman was there and obviously kept them very competitive against more aggressive offensive teams due, in part, to ball control. There were reports from some of the Niners beat guys that the offense became overloaded this year with 'too many cooks in the kitchen' implementing conflicting philosophies and plays. When given autonomy, it will be very interesting to see how Roman does. I think Roman is probably going to be a very good fit for an OC for Rex.
