There's a new salary cap exception for 2nd round picks, where previously teams would need to use cap space or part of the MLE if they wanted to offer more than 2 years @ the rookie minimum.we traded down like 400 times to end up with Walsh and a million 2nd rounders
are 2nd rounders worth something in the NBA all of a sudden? why on earth would you do this?
Not a huge difference, but going forward 2nd rounders will have a little more value to cap strapped teams that need to fill out their roster.
