Let's see the Great Aaron Rodgers pull this off without Nelson and Adams. You know, basically the same type of weapons Brady has had for most of his career.
Nope. Nantz called Peyton 'The Sheriff' and likes to call Roethlisberger simply 'Ben.' At best Tom will get a TB12.
They usually do the same thing, regular season too. Take foot off gas on offense.
That said, last year GB lost in OT after tying the game on a hail mary. But that wasn't really a heart breaker, would have been a heartbreak for AZ if they lost.
Also Edelman and Branch and Moss and Welker. The no weapons trope is overblown.
If Green Bay needs their timeouts, then something will have gone wrong for them.
Moss, yes, but those other players were not great talents elsewhere and I doubt Edelman does much if he's drafted anywhere else.
I mean, you're right, Brady's always had garbage players, who didn't know what they were doing. Probably way the Patriots have made it to 6 straight championship games. Because their players suck.
It's fine to take a TO there. Be sure. One mistake in a drive like this and that TO won't mean a damn thing cause the ball will be going back the other way.
Humblebrag time here but I played baseball Garret growing up and for a guy who was a stud athlete from the jump (our team saved roster spots for him and his brother because they went to school in another part of the state and wouldn't join us until June), he was an incredibly nice kid. I don't know what he is like now but I still root for the guy.
Only one guy on that list is a true #1 wide out, and he was here for what, 2 years? And during that time, Brady annhilated the record books. I'm obviously talking about the non-Moss years. The rest of those guys are who they are because of Brady and the offense he runs, and would be nothing more than Cole Beasley anywhere else. Cole Beasley is not a "weapon." But he'd catch 95 balls in New England.
Which guys does Rodgers have who were stars without him? Giving Brady credit for every breakout receiver and no blame for the early round and big name busts, then negating Rodgers for making his early round picks good is dumb.
