It's kind of a shame that the schedule for this series was laid out without a day game in Wrigley. I know it's all about TV and Mets-Cubs would probably not get bumped by anything less than a Sox-MFY ALCS game, but still.
The New York Mets would require a historic collapse not to advance to the World Series.
Still, the team's website prematurely touted the Mets as National League champions and displayed merchandise celebrating capturing the pennant on Wednesday afternoon.

We just got done getting a butcher out of LF. I wouldn't. Need pitching too, so keep that very promising looking guy.E5 Yaz said:Would you include Eduardo Rodriguez in a deal for Kyle Schwarber?

Too young to DH. Guys like to be complete players at least for a few years. We have a DH and two catchers.soxhop411 said:DH? Catcher?
I would estimate it at about 5% before the start of this game, now down to 1% or even less probablyBunt4aTriple said:Is there a win probability out there for the cubs to take the series? I poked around but couldn't find what I was looking for. Does this only work in the context of in-game scenarios?
Travis Wood seems to be pretty decent as a long reliever, perhaps he should have started.rembrat said:Too bad Lester couldnt/wouldnt go.
