Exactly what I thoughtSnyder starting to spill the beans I see.
Also.... he was better. Darnold was bad but he was nowhere near Wilson bad:The difference, perhaps, is that Darnold wasn't considered problematic in the locker room ... which has to be a factored in by any team considering Wilson next season
Snyder starting to spill the beans I see.
I don't see Snyder talking to the Washington Post about anything. It would be nice to see Snyder start telling people where the skeletons are buried, but even the WaPo is a step too far for him.Exactly what I thought
Snyder was said to have PIs looking into other owners for dirt. You think this has nothing to do with that?I don't see Snyder talking to the Washington Post about anything. It would be nice to see Snyder start telling people where the skeletons are buried, but even the WaPo is a step too far for him.
Snyder isn't talking to anybody. He's hired verbal hitmen to do the talking for him.I don't see Snyder talking to the Washington Post about anything. It would be nice to see Snyder start telling people where the skeletons are buried, but even the WaPo is a step too far for him.
Not Eagles-Giants?MIA-LAC flexed into primetime instead of DEN-KC
Probably because the Dolphins have been better than advertised and haven't had m/any national games? Not Eagles-Giants?
The key parenthetical in the official release is the league will consult with the networks (https://www.nfl.com/schedules/flexible-scheduling-procedures). If I read the schedule for next weekend right, CBS and Fox each have only one game at 1pm where both teams have winning records next weekend: Jets-Bills on CBS and Eagles-Giants on Fox. That would be a tough loss if one of those networks loses their prime game. It's appears Fox has the national slot at 4pm, so Dolphins-Chargers on CBS would have been languishing in the 4pm time slot that very few over the air viewers would see. Seems to be a win-win because Chiefs-Broncos will have more fanatical local markets (especially compared to the Chargers) which will drive viewers in the non-national 4pm slot for CBS. Fair for all sides it seems. Not Eagles-Giants?
Good ol' Chester MarcolHere's a fun way to spend 15 minutes (it's a video of game-winning TDs in order of the length of the TD).
Guy loves incidents throwing shit out of windows, glad to see he added in threatening to shoot her and then tops it off hitting her with a shoe. Brady won't do it but I'd love to see a tweet @AB.Warrant issued for Antonio Brown’s arrest

I can’t find the Following Former Patriots thread
I’m blown away that Hugh Millen made that compilation. Here's a fun way to spend 15 minutes (it's a video of game-winning TDs in order of the length of the TD).
I figured it was going to be the TD to Greg McMurty to upset the Oilers, but I guess that technically wasn't a walkoff.I’m blown away that Hugh Millen made that compilation.
Edit: and even more blown away that it wasn’t for a pick 6.
That popped up in my feed yesterday as well, the reward was waiting until very late in the video for Brady to Brown. Here's a fun way to spend 15 minutes (it's a video of game-winning TDs in order of the length of the TD).
One does not need a license or permit to possess weapons. Just sayin’He have a license/permit for the weapons?
So I’m not going to link everything but this is great as the last post because I just aw a tweet from Dov about Drew Brees being struck by lightning. I followed to the original tweet and actually read the thread.Dov Kleiman should retire as an aggregator - he sucks.
Yeah I mean on the one hand, we want sex offenders to get treatment and improve themselves. On the other, everything about how this has been handled is vomitous, and I share your revulsion. This is . . . something. Schefter is fucking shameless. Progress towards what? Not sexually assaulting massage therapists anymore?

Right except Watson hasn’t admitted to doing anything wrong, so what progress is he making again?Yeah I mean on the one hand, we want sex offenders to get treatment and improve themselves. On the other, everything about how this has been handled is vomitous, and I share your revulsion.
Yeah sorry for not making myself clear. This is almost certainly PR bullshit and I agree with you.Right except Watson hasn’t admitted to doing anything wrong, so what progress is he making again?
This is the NFL in a fucking nutshell, using one of their shameless mouthpieces to start pushing the narrative that Watson is somehow reformed (even though he doesn’t think he did anything wrong) so that we can have some stupid redemption story when he finally comes back. I need my head examined for continuing to follow this league.
No worries I knew you were agreeing with me, I was just using your post as a jumping off point to highlight the absurdity of the statement.Yeah sorry for not making myself clear. This is almost certainly PR bullshit and I agree with you.
If he's still talking about "his side of the story" at this point, whatever "progress" the flaks are talking about is straight up bullshit.View: https://twitter.com/McCannSportsLaw/status/1599427711105048580?s=20&t=1Ck6AM3GxJrEK5pGIeNtWw
Deshaun Watson has "said people haven't been interested in hearing his side of the story". He declined to go into any questions outside of football this past week.
Watson faces ongoing litigation--that's a reason not to talk--but tough to criticize others if you don't answer Qs.
Did we know about the Jerry allegation from September 2020?Inside the letter the NFLPA filed regarding Watson's suspension ... Kraft, Big Ben, Jerrah and more

I would not be against bringing in Baker for a look. There were rumors around the draft that BB was interested in him. Obviously he has struggled and had a big fall from grace but I don’t really see the downside given the current state of affairs.
Also announced Saturday https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/week-15-nfl-schedule-giants-commanders-flexed-to-sunday-night-dolphins-bills-headline-saturday-tripleheader/NYG-WAS flexed to SNF on week 15 (NE-LV was flexed out to 4:05, per other thread).
I had originally forgotten about Saturday games and was wondering why they chose Was-NYG over Mia-Buf.The NFL announced several changes to its Week 15 schedule, setting the three Saturday games that will air as a tripleheader on NFL Network. The league also moved the New York Giants and Washington Commanders to Sunday night, flexing out the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders to late Sunday afternoon.
For the Saturday tripleheader (which will be played on December 17), the 1 p.m. EST game will feature the Indianapolis Colts at the Minnesota Vikings. The 4:30 p.m. EST game will feature the Baltimore Ravens at the Cleveland Browns while the 8:15 p.m. EST game will be the game of the day between the Miami Dolphins at the Buffalo Bills.
Unless Baker can play OT, it makes no sense. You'd be publicly cutting bait on Jones by doing so, and just bringing one flawed player in to struggle with the same team/systemic challenges that our current flawed player is trying to overcome. Although there might be potential entertainment value in a QB room braintrust consisting of MP, Joe Judge, and Mayfield.I would not be against bringing in Baker for a look. No real downside other than wasting time but, man, Mayfield is just awful. Maybe a team like SF will take a look. But Baker has been so bad that even Sam Darnold feels like a big improvement.I would not be against bringing in Baker for a look. There were rumors around the draft that BB was interested in him. I don’t think you’d have to cut bait on Mac. You’d just have another guy, expectations for whom would be exceedingly low at this stage. Maybe you get lucky and he finds something. At least he has NFL caliber arm strength!Unless Baker can play OT, it makes no sense. This. In 2020, Baker Mayfield had Jarvis Landry and OBJ as 28 year olds, Austin Hooper and David Njoku, Higgins and Peoples-Jones. A two headed monster of Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb running the ball (team averaged 150ypg that season). No real downside other than wasting time but, man, Mayfield is just awful. Agreed. Here is DJ Moore's production in 7 Baker-started games.This.
And he still couldn't complete 63% of his passes and had a rating of 95.9, in that, his best season.
Short of releasing him outright, I can think of no more public way to cut bait on Jones than to disrupt any attempts to develop him by bringing in an underachieving mediocrity like Mayfield.I don’t think you’d have to cut bait on Mac. The NYJ pulled off something similar recently without cutting bait (so it seems)Short of releasing him outright, I can think of no more public way to cut bait on Jones than to disrupt any attempts to develop him by bringing in an underachieving mediocrity like Mayfield.
I'll leave it to @luckiestman to confirm, but it seems safe to assume that Zach Wilson is never starting another game for the Jets. The NYJ pulled off something similar recently without cutting bait (so it seems)
