‘Massive’ extension? Rapsheet’s arms must be tired from carrying such a huge bucket of water.
Saquon got 11 million. Josh Jacobs got 10 million. Both for a massive 1 year.‘Massive’ extension? Rapsheet’s arms must be tired from carrying such a huge bucket of water.
Have to imagine any WR would be thrilled to leave the dumpster fire (and cold) in Chicago for the track meet in Miami.Yup. Nice complement to their speed combo but so much smoke about his attitude and work ethic that this probably won’t lead to much. But no real harm in trying to find out.
Who is he carrying water for?‘Massive’ extension? Rapsheet’s arms must be tired from carrying such a huge bucket of water.
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Us_tspC1_QClaypool is probably going to be asked to do a bunch of dirty work at first and earn his touches. If he shows no interest in doing that, he probably sits. If he does, Miami has added a piece they were lacking before.
Miami has entered “if it doesn’t work here, it work anywhere” territory on the offense.
Richardson has played 4 games and has been injured in 4 games. That is seemingly a problem. But Gardner is definitely one of the best backups in the league. The Colts might be better with Minshew this year, even though Richardson has looked pretty decent.
Maybe they can do something about the catch rule while they're at it. We need the Chiefs to lose the NFCCG on a last second overturned Kelce TD catch.Didn't know where else to put this, and I'm not conversant with twitter, but apparently Taylor Swift's fans are taking up the cause for grass fields, after Kelce strained something on turf. I understand there's even a #swiftiesgainstturf hashtag or something.
I'm pretty entertained. Goodell v. the Swift Army is the unstoppable force/unmovable object situation. Rog and the shield roll all foes, but if the swifties get motivated, he may not be a match.
Man, the league really likes to help the Chiefs, moving them to the weaker conference...lolMaybe they can do something about the catch rule while they're at it. We need the Chiefs to lose the NFCCG on a last second overturned Kelce TD catch.
Steve Smith eviscerated Jeudy last night on the pregame show. He called Jeudy a third-tier receiver, a JAG, and said he wouldn’t recommend that teams trade for him.
I assume Bill was on the horn immediately.Steve Smith eviscerated Jeudy last night on the pregame show. He called Jeudy a third-tier receiver, a JAG, and said he wouldn’t recommend that teams trade for him.
Jeudy is another Agahlor. The numbers are never close to what the skills indicate they should be. Jeudy has never had a 1,000 yard season. He's never had a 70 reception season. He's obviously not getting there this year, either.I was a big proponent of trading for Jeudy this off-season and while I think there's a chance he puts his head on straight and becomes a quality receiver still, I think he's been awful this year. Just awful. Uninterested, slow, not making any plays. Don't think he'd help this team a lick.
Broncos really screwed up not dealing him this offseason when he had more value. I was interested but not anymore. Someone else like KC should take a shot on him. Bad fit for a team like the Pats where he’d be expected to be a #1.I was a big proponent of trading for Jeudy this off-season and while I think there's a chance he puts his head on straight and becomes a quality receiver still, I think he's been awful this year. In fairness, his QBs have been Russell Wilson, Teddy Bridgewater, Drew Lock, Jeff Driskel, and something called Brett Rypien.Jeudy is another Agahlor. 21 receivers had 1000 yard seasons just last year. It's not a crazy high bar.
That seems pretty high to me, especially given that the Patriot's 2024 pick should be pretty good. Two firsts for 1.5 years of control seems pretty high, considering that he's only really bargain this year. Next year, he comes with a high cap hit.Not that Minnesota would have a real interest in doing this, but what would be a reasonable price for the Pats to pay for Jefferson? Two firsts? More than that?
Agree, Tyreek Hill was traded for a 2022 first-round pick (No. 29), second-round pick (No. 50) and fourth-round pick, plus fourth- and sixth-round picks in the 2023 draftThat seems pretty high to me, especially given that the Patriot's 2024 pick should be pretty good. Obviously, there would be plenty of teams willing to sign him for a 1/20 contract next year, but that's still a lot. I think for 2 first, you need to be talking about a QB, multiple years of control, or a pretty favorable cap hit.
I'm not a huge Jeudy fan, but Steve Smith is a clown. His whole tirade was because he was an asshole about Jeudy earlier and Jeudy was annoyed, then when Smith tried to be buddy buddy with him off camera Jeudy told him to piss off.Steve Smith eviscerated Jeudy last night on the pregame show. Stefanski said after last week's game that Watson was medically cleared but sat himself out, and that it "wasn't a pain tolerance thing," but rather that he didn't feel like "he had his full faculties," and now he's going to miss several more weeks? Something doesn't smell right.DeShaun Watson out again this week
Watson has a guaranteed contract. Why would he bother to play? Especially against SF?Stefanski said after last week's game that Watson was medically cleared but sat himself out, and that it "wasn't a pain tolerance thing," but rather that he didn't feel like "he had his full faculties," and now he's going to miss several more weeks? "Seven-time Pro-Bowl WR Julio Jones is signing a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, per sources. Jones will be reunited with his former Titans’ teammate, AJ Brown, who pushed for Tennessee to trade for him from Atlanta. Along with playing with Brown in Tennessee, Jones also previously played with Eagles’ WR Olamide Zaccheaus when the two were together from 2019-2020 in Atlanta."
Da fuq? Julio Jones?
Getting your buddy a chance at a ring as a favor? This makes no sense. I imagine it will, soon.
He looked washed last year in Tampa, too, notwithstanding the initial fanfare of the Bucs adding another ‘weapon.’Getting your buddy a chance at a ring as a favor?
He looked very washed in TEN, though PHI doesn't have great WR depth, so sure.. big slot?
Wasn't that the main complaint about Julio when he was actually good?Perhaps a red zone target for an offense that’s offensive in the red zone.
It’s not your fault.Let me tell you what I do know; every day, I check this thread. And I read the last few posts, have a few drinks, and a few laughs, and it's great. You know what the best part of my day is? It's for about ten seconds when I pull up SoSH and I click the link to this thread. 'Cause I think maybe I'll get to the latest post and Mac will have been traded for a 3rd rounder or something. No goodbye, no "see ya later", no nothin'. He just left. I don't know much, but I know that.

Now I didn’t say that. Allegedly your situation, for you, would be concurrently improved if I had AJ Brown in my huddle right now.
I thought to myself that this idiot thought he said receiver, then giggled, then realized that I was the idiot.
As Sam Schwartzstein, one of the minds behind the model with Prime Vision and the Amazon Machine Learning team, eagerly watched his model work its magic on every snap, on one play, he became confused at why his program was highlighting a nickel corner who wasn’t giving any indication that he was blitzing. “Why are we highlighting this guy?” Schwartzstein yelled in fustration.
Right before the ball was snapped, the inside linebacker dropped to the nickel’s side and the nickel finally moved toward the line of scrimmage. The program sniffed out this blitzer well before Schwartzstein, watching the game from a wide-angle camera shot. The weirdest part about this is no one really knows how Defensive Alert did it. It’s a self-learning program that has analyzed thousands of plays and movement patterns to understand how defenses move as a whole when certain players blitz.
