Ronald Rosario, sometimes known as Rosey by his teammates, & a RoRo All-Star, spent most of the season catching for Greenville this season.

Rosey does not turn 21 until New Year's Day. No player younger than Rosario had more high-A PAs than Rosario's 247.
RoRo signed at 16 y/o out of Palo Negro, Venezuela for a bargain $50k on the 1st day of the 2019 signing period, July 2nd. Some people say the only reason Eddie Romero did not get the Red Sox GM job is that he would break the league after being 1 of 2 signing scouts (along with Alex Requena). RONALD was in Greenville's top 10 in the following categories:
Hits
Runs
Doubles
Triples
Swag
RBI
Awesomeness
Walks
Total bases
Catching stuff
HBP
Intentional walks (17% of his team's total)
In the past 90 days, The Rose Garden has a 1.117 OPS. & if there is one thing Ronnie hits better than righties, it's lefties.
Rosario threw out 30 guys trying to steal, while getting caught stealing 0 times himself... in fact Rosario has NEVER been caught stealing in his vaunted MiLB career.
After sharpening his already impressive skills during the COVID year, Ron straight dominated DSL competition in '21 to the tune of a .500/.600/.750 slash line for a whopping 1.350 OPS (260 wRC+). The Ro-minator sported a 4 to 1 walk to strikeout ratio. Based on information & belief he only didn't play even more due to "hurting other team's feelings" & "making opponents want to retire en masse".
After tearing up the DSL, it was only natural he would proceed on to the FCL for his age 19 season in '22. He took it easy, but still put up a well above average wRC+. Rosey led the FCL Sox in OPS by guys between 50 & 80 PAs, the most important demographic.
The Red Sox decided to move Ronald along slowly... taking the conservative route & having him start this past season in A-Ball. It did not take them long to realize that the 20 y/o Rosario had outgrown regular A-Ball & that he was ready for the highest of A-Ball. RO-RO had a 133 wRC+ in 72 PAs at the time of the promotion. Rosarito widened his demographic reach even further, leading the 26 to 155 PA range in OPS.
The Red Sox new CBO, Craig Breslowsario, made the difficult choice to leave Rosario off the 40-man for now, but wisely added him to the list to protect him from the MiLB Rule 5. SoxProspects was so enamored by this choice that he was the 1st, & maybe only, guy they mentioned as being added to the list.
Periodic SOSH contributor & pina colada connoisseur Ed Hand did his part in trying to avoid losing Rosario to the R5 draft this off season "ranking" Ronny 7th among the orgs catchers. Good looking out.

SoxProspects describes Rosario as follows:
Summation: Potential solid [redacted] player.
It goes without saying they mean this is his floor.

Finally, RONALD ROSARIO is a CHAMPION, catching all 4 games in the playoffs for Greenville as they swept the way through, while calling immaculate game after immaculate game.
Rosario was 4-13 with a homer, a double, 3 walks & 4 RBI (1 in each game). He slashed .308/.438/.615 for a 1.053 OPS.
Here's the homer:

It's only a matter of time until we see PLAYOFF ROSARIO continue to tear his way through the system.
