Wait until it all goes terribly wrong (which it may or may not)

His arrogance knows no bounds
There is plenty to kill him about but this seems like a stretch. Go to the Jet thread and posters are basically saying the same thing about Bowles.

Of course they are. It sure looks like Bowles knows what he's doing.

But to say with such assurance that he is the real deal after 2 games is a bit much.

Mike probably likes Bowles because of the Parcells connection

Fatso just said someone should "take out" Gronk because he's a "jerk". Classy
Someone called Mike today and brought this up. He vehemently denied ever saying it. I wish someone had tape of it to play alongside the denial.

Mike has been a fan of "Tard Bulls" as he calls him, for some time now. He was touting him last season for his work with Arizona.
This is solid message boarding. A+.

He must be Tard Bulls on SoSH from now on.

I remember the Gronk thing the day after last years Colt Sunday night game.  Couldn't believe he said it - DVR'd it for my brother to see, he couldn't believe it either, probably still have it on DVR.  I think the quote was "If I were a player on the defense I'd take Gronkowski out.  He's a real jerk. Great player, but he's a jerk."  Seeing Gronk dance on the sideline while the Pats (once again) destroyed his golden boy Luck on national TV was just too much for FFF to take.  But he said it, the lyin' bastard.

Francesa is talking about MLB selling corks used in celebration. So he's saying Cork nonstop, but his stupid accent makes it sound like he's saying "Cock". I'm having a heart attack laughing.

"Go to auctions and search Cawk. Is it under Celebatory Cawk? Is that what it's under?"

"They're selling the Cawks from the Mets"

"Oh, I have Cawks from other teams too! I Have St Louis Cardinal Cawk. Texas Ranger Cawk."

"I need specific Cawk. There's more than one Cawk here"

"Game used Cawk. How about that. Could you imagine such a thing? That's what we've come to"

"Game used Cawk. How about that. Could you imagine such a thing? That's what we''ve come to."

"You want that Cawk. Here it is. The Blue Jay Cawk is going for 55 bucks. Authenticated Cawk used in celebration of the Blue Jays. For the Mets 15. Come on Mets fans, you're laggards. Blue Jays fans are paying 55 bucks for Cawk already. You just have to pay 15."

"Just in time for Christmas. Wrap a piece of Cawk and put it under the tree"

The funny part is that deGrom can't pitch game 4 on 3 days rest now after throwing 120 pitches. Matz was pitching game 4 almost no matter what.
He probably won't but if they are down 2-1, they will definitely use him for a few innings if Matz blows up. So his argument still works.

I give Francesa a pass on these Mets calls because most of them are from fans who want to rag on Harvey for not pitching twice in the series.  As if any of them would risk their careers and forgo the possibility of earning life changing money if they were in Harvey's position.

I kind of laughed when he said it was his decision not to put out the Sunday football show on the network because he thought he might want to talk baseball with the Yankees and the Mets probably in the playoffs. What ever the truth he seems to be correct as its been basically all Met talk this morning.

Mike just did a righteous thing just told a caller who apparently went insane yesterday on air and it went viral, to come to the game with him tonight. The man went dead silent, think he fainted. So guess there is good in everyone, did anyone hear this segment?

Well it was a nice gesture on the surface and I'd like to give Mike the benefit of the doubt on this however it's hard to do.  First of all Mike doesn't give a hoot about the Mets as a fan. I'd be shocked if he ever attended a game there as a fan.  So because he has "pull" he gets the hottest ticket the town has seen in years (behind home plate).  Since this phone call went viral and the eyes of the world are on it what a nice opportunity to increase ratings by taking this guy to the biggest game of the series.  And In a highly visible location where everyone will probably see them on TV no less.  From listening to the phone call Mike wasn't too terribly concerned about Will's state of mind as he was joking about it. So now all of a sudden he wants to treat the guy out of the kindness of his heart. Sorry but I'm not buying it.

Caller asked if Luck should just sit this one out to get healthy since Colts have no chance of winning.  FFF tersely replied: "What does Luck possibly have to fear against that Pats defense?"  Then he went on how they have no chance of going undefeated, they are not a great team - they're a good team, not a great team.  Good offense - bad defense.

where I was last at
so after Nantz exits,
FF picks it up again (and he's not totally wrong)
I just want to see the Pats defense tested
Luck if he's healthy can test them deep
they got lucky last year
gave up lots of scores

and won the SB that they should have lost

to commercial

Nance was tremendous defending the Pats against FF's typical sour grapes anti-Pats bias this morning: "You make it seem like all these teams turning the ball over against the Patriots are all just inept knuckleheads just placing the ball on the ground. Don't you think the Patriots have something to do with all these turnovers?"

He won't even come out and predict it'll be a really close game, or that he simply wants the Colts to win because he loves Luck and hates the Patriots.

He said that "people" may be surprised by how competitive the game is, "watch out" for Luck, and that the Pats probably won't "win by 30."  Really going out on a limb there, predicting a "competitive" game in the NFL.  I mean, the Colts could lose by ten and he'll tell everyone how dead-on his take was.

He embarrasses himself with this NY fanbase red meat. And I honestly think he believes what he's saying, he's totally blind when it comes to the Pats.

I remember this past summer when someone called up FF and pointed out that Lebron (who he likes) should have lost the last Finals he won, FF cut the guy off:  "Shoulda, woulda, coulda - I only deal in facts."  Same logic does not and never will apply to Pats. Again this morning, for the 99th time - "...Pats defense was even susceptible last year, including the Super Bowl, which they shoulda lost."

I'm sure he doesn't apply that same logic to the Giants and SB 25. Should have lost!
