Giancarlo Stanton just left Dodger Stadium. That was the furthest ball I've ever seen hit in person. At the game so this is the best I can do for a link: http://streamable.com/jgp4

The camera never picked up that ball until it left the stadium.3rd Degree said:Fifth time in Dodger Stadium history, according to Molly Knight:

No argument. I just always find the intentional walk with a man on first amusing.E5 Yaz said:
Well, yeah, but can't really argue too much with the strategy. Bottom of the 11th, sets up the force at home

He made a ridiculous play the previous half inning.

And this was after he had robbed Tulo the inning before that.

Good god again? I've gotten this notification from at bat twice already this week.Ed Hillel said:Stanton just jacked one about 500 to straightaway center.
Not only that but DeGrom has two hits in the inning and 3 already in the game.soxhop411 said:Mets hang a 10 spot on MIL in the 4th (and still batting)
He might have finally learned how to hit. One of the really good guys in MLB.soxhop411 said:brandon crawford with 6 RBI thru 6
I was sort of impressed that they could get that many words in about Cabrera, his health and his conditioning without mentioning the words "alcohol" or "arrest."DanoooME said:I love how the ESPN crew is talking about how similar Miguel Cabrera's career is to Hank Aaron's at the age of 32 and how impressive it is.
They conveniently forget the run Aaron had from 33-39 where in 7 seasons when most are on the downside of his career, he had 271 HR and 701 RBIs (38+ HR and 100 RBI per season). There are no more PEDs, so if Cabrera has that run in him, then he deserves a lot of credit. Most guys don't even get close to that in their prime, let alone that part of their career.
