HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

Not sure if it will work out (even if it does this is likely a 1 year stint), but man are the "the Patriots are evil" crowd gonna lose it.

OMG! They’re so making the playoffs this year.

He can’t play tomorrow night, but he can lower the cover off the banner.

Fuck me running. And here I thought all the noise elsewhere was just anti-Pats paranoia. This is going to be interesting, even for one year. $15M with $9M signing bonus, according to Schefter.

CHOOOOOOCHOOOOO MOTHERFUCKERS!!!

I love this but share axx’s question around cap space. How? I can’t believe this is real life. The salty tears are going to be unprecedented. For the price and the culture here, I really don’t see much downside. It’s a one year deal, so if it doesn’t work out very unlikely to have long term cap ramifications.

This is consistent with how I voted, for a makegood deal like this, I’d be thrilled to get him. Wow.

The best part of this news is that we no longer have to wait a few days for a Belichick Breakdown. We can get it right after the game.

The odds of him playing a single down for the Patriots this season are probably about the same as him suiting up for Dallas week 3.

Signing with the Patriots is the highest profile thing he could do at this point, which is probably the driver here. I doubt he has any intent of stepping on the field unless it’s just to walk out of the stadium after one play or something like that.

Wait several people here were saying over and over for the last 24 hours that a) no way Brown gets released and b) no way the Pats sign him. I'm so confused.
