Did they change the redemption method from past years? Can't see where to Redeem on desktop without going thru the TMo app. (moot, but still curious, as I had my son with Tmo redeem under my MLB log in from prior years)

Shop around: offers to buy up to $12-15.

EDIT just found the desktop only link:

https://www.mlb.com/commerce/redeem/form
Thanks!! Best $5 I spend every year through Slickdeals.I go through the same guy every year but am notiing the prices are going higher.

My suspicion is if you wait, you can eventually get a $5 taker but I offered $10 a couple weeks ago just so I had something locked in. FOMO is real!

Also, rumor is the fed watches MLB.tv SlickDeals trades for inflation targets...

I ended up getting one for $15 because I ran out of DMs and no one was biting on a $10 offer. Bumped it to $15 and had about 10 messages in half an hour.

Either way, still a steal.

But how does the exchange work without the ability to send messages?

I got a message, i replied, then when I was asking the guy for his email I could not send more

I had a similar issue..... I have TWO slickdeals accounts. Rice4hof and Rice4hofALT. Started convo on one, then replied on 2nd one explaining I had hit my message limit on first one. Anyhow, got it done, and am set for another year for $10.

I said in my comment that I was out of DMs and anyone interested had to DM me their email and I would pay the $15.

I got a bunch that just asked me if I was still interested, which I couldn’t reply to, and finally someone sent me one with their email address. I emailed them to make sure it was legit, then sent them the gift card.

I've gotten it on Ebay the last couple years, just bought one today for $20
I got mine to work. Just not worth jumping through hoops to get my wife's code activated to pass along here. If anyone knows a quick and easy way to do it without my wife having to install any new apps on her phone, I'm all ears.

So I got a new account with slickdeals (so I could send messages again).

Sent a message requesting an email address and offered $10 AGC.

Got like 6 OMs with emails. First one was gone, second was not. Exchanged AGC, got a link, opened it on my iPhone, took me to the mlbApp and voila, MLB TV.

Verified on my laptop and it says I have MLBTV 2024 through the Tuesday T Mobile Deal.

That was very simple and easy.

Another successful year with the guy I’ve worked with the past 4 for this. It does seem they added a hoop for people this year but no issues on our end.

I have two codes. I am holding them for SOSHers who sent me messages in advance. I am waiting on responses to PMs, but may move ahead with offering to others if they don't respond or are no longer interested.

I don't sell my codes for profit. I have always asked for a $25 donation to the Jimmy Fund. Cancer sucks. I would rather do some good.

Edit: Both claimed.

I just did the slickdeals thing for the first time. Offered $10 amazon gift card, asked for an email address in any PMs, and had multiple offers within minutes. Picked the guy with the longest track record at slick deals. I ran into some issues when the link he sent me went to a 404 and pasting the code into the format jayhoz linked above returned an invalid code message. Turns out the link he had sent me had some spaces in the link that needed to be removed.

I normally just order MLB.tv through my AppleTv. How does this work? The person you get the code from have to give you their email address to claim?

No. They redeem the offer from TMobile. They then send you the code / link they receive that you use with mlb.tv

Anyone else experiencing obnoxiously loud commercials?
Always. Sometimes I even get obnoxiously loud audio from commercials blasting during the actual game too. Quite maddening.

Anyone happen to know a way to make PIA VPN work with MLB.tv again? The last few years have gotten very difficult to get around blackouts with a VPN, but now this year it seems impossible.

I’m using Nord VPN at the router and watching on my TV via a Chromecast. Working perfectly.

That's always been a thing. My favorite this year is the "opening day is" spots that have one guy in the montage about 12dB louder than everyone else.

…..and now it’s not working at all. All games blacked out on the few Nord servers I’ve tried.

Just a reminder if you have the T-Mobile code, you should download the free MilB ap for your device (possibly computer as well). You don't need the code again or to register or anything. You can now just log in with your regular MLB/MLB.TV account and get all the minor league games streamed as part of the subscription.

I can certainly get the Worcester TV feed. Criswell starting today.

It's nice not to have to cosplay a vampire to watch a Sox team play - these 9:40 starts are killing me.

And if you don't want to pay for MLB.tv, MiLB.tv on it's own might be the best value in sports programming, and gets better every year.

So annoying that I cannot watch the home opener today since I live in Baltimore's home market. Allegedly.

I’m blacked out of the O’s, Nats and Pirates. With YouTube TV I get Philly sports so no way to watch the Sox. Last year with DirecTV I had all the MASNs so got all the O’s and Nats games.

It’s so damn stupid.

I signed up for a 7 day Fubo trial so I am able to get MASN that way.

Thanks to @Rovin Romine and @LogansDad above, I signed in to the MiLB First Pitch app with my MLB.tv account. Verrrrrrry nice to have all this extra content!

I notice that they started including the chosen favorite MLB team's minor league affiliates on the home screen of the MLB.tv app...but am I right in seeing that you can't watch those games on demand? I'm out here on the west coast and would love to throw a Portland Sea Dogs game on after Lady Leskanic heads to bed...but it looks like I have to stream it from the phone app? The Firestick MLB.tv app just shows "your event has ended" screens for all the minor league games. Am I doing something wrong? Or are those only live broadcasts in the MLB app?

I think you are now able (this season) to log into the MiLB website with my MLB ID and password and stream all the games on demand. At least, I can do so. If you only have the Sox MiLB teams with your package, you might be able to stream them if you log into the minors site with your major's password.

Yes, I can do that too. This is more a question of convenience, as I have an mlb.tv app for my Firestick - and the MLB app lists minor league games for your chosen MLB team. But apparently the games can only be watched live…so if I want to on-demand it after the fact, I have to run it on my phone or computer and cast it to the TV. Not the worst option, but again, was hoping there was an on-demand option for the minor league games within the existing tv app for MLB.tv. Alas, it seems there isn’t.
