Good comeback win for Notre Dame. Another SEC team goes down.Miles Boykin with the catch of the year.
Baker Mayfield is utter garbage. Go Georgia.
Here is to a lot of VY highlight videos.
Mayfield didn’t beat his girlfriend or get caught up in a hate crime; he just refuses to do the false modesty thing. That makes him “utter garbage?”Baker Mayfield is utter garbage. Go Georgia.

They take away his Hook 'em Horns license plate holder if he doesn't say that. I think it's in the membership agreement or something.Mayfield didn’t beat his girlfriend or get caught up in a hate crime; he just refuses to do the false modesty thing. That makes him “utter garbage?”
I’m usually an SEC guy, especially when it’s not Auburn, but I find myself rooting for OU. He’s fun to watch.
+1You guys know why college football is so awesome. How many big penalties have been called? Unless something is particularly egregious, they seem to be letting the kids play, and as long as it's consistent, it works. The NFL could learn a few things.
I disagree. One of the reasons CFB has become so unbalanced is because the refs have largely given up on policing rules (offensive holding, blocking downfield) that are designed to give the defense a fighting chance. Maybe you like 4-hour, 90-point games, but I’m not a fan.You guys know why college football is so awesome. How many big penalties have been called? I don't particularly care if they call penalties or if they don't. I care about consistency. I don't want to see them make a massive ticky tack holding call in one situation, but not in another, which is what happens weekly in the NFL. If they are going to call DPI because a guy got there a millisecond early, then they better call it every time someone gets there a millisecond early. In college, they have seemingly decided to only call egregious obvious penalties, but they are consistent about it. And I disagree that a 25 penalty flagfest would result in a faster game. What makes you say NCAA is unbalanced? Games are longer and have more points because teams typically get significantly more plays per game under college timing rules. (The last three years have been around 15-20% more plays in an NCAA game)I disagree. Sponsors and alumni. In other words, those who have $$.Timing rules are an issue. Who wants 4 hour games?
Linsey McCravenWho is the idiot screaming.
I haven’t looked at the numbers. Maybe it’s just the extra plays — which of course contributes to the absurd game length, but CFB games have been long since forever. But anecdotally, it seems like good offenses simply aren’t stoppable. What makes you say NCAA is unbalanced?
