I'm dying to see the next ratings book where D&C really is vs. Kirk's statement.
So:
Boston.com = liberal douches
Boston Globe = same thing, liberal douches
Boston Herald = tabloid douches?
Deadspin = Internet douches?
Keith Olberman = National douche?
For someone that wanted Joe Haggerty fired for whatever that was Haggerty posted online as a story on the huge CSNNE.com web page, he's upset that others are making his a comments a big deal?
How is it possible he wrote a long statement, called out the Boston media, but didn't call out Chad Finn?
This is my favorite:
Think about it -- the Globe employs four writers (Dan Shaughnessy, Chris Gasper, Tony Massarotti and Adam Kaufman) who are paid talent for our direct competitor. WEEI employs none. It's a smart move for that station -- they pay the two lead columnists for the Globe, which ensures a level of protection -- but it presents a serious conflict.
Is Kirk really that dumb that he isn't aware of what happened between the Globe and WEEI in the 2000's with the bans etc. and the fact that HIS show (for now anyways) is on NESN (owned by John Henry), WEEI is the flagship station of the Red Sox (owned by John HEnry) and the reporters are on Boston.com/Globe payroll (Owned by John Henry).
John Henry even gave the freaking Herald a scoop on Jon Lester yesterday.
Kirk/Waxpack the reason people are out to get you isn't because you are on WEEI, it's because you are on a terrible program, you've become little John Dennis, you call for people to be fired for a freaking comcast article with nothing offensive in it, and you can't even apologize without causing more of a shit storm. #sportsdebate.
