Marcus Smart was so fucking good tonight.

Malcolm Brogdon, you can’t pass or defend worth a shit but you made some BIG shots.

There were two separate instances when the Celtics looked like they were going to fold and Jaylen made a big bucket.

Horford is Horford. “Average Al” is a stud.

CJM made some KEY adjustments in between games.

The defense put some CLAMPS on Philly.

That was a fucking TEAM win. Shame on me because I completely lost faith

I hope they run a play for Tatum off the rip on Sunday because the crowd is going to go fucking insane if he cans an early three. Get the juices flowing.

Harden 4-16, 0-6 from three, for only 13 points, with 5 turnovers was a disaster for the Sixers. TL gummed up the paint early, and Harden never got on track.

I asked in an earlier game thread why we weren’t playing 2 bigs. What the fuck took so long?
I don't want to pig pile on the guy because he's a rookie head coach and he's in a tough situation but JM is bad at in-game/series adjustments. Dollars to donuts says the two bigs call came from above. Brad gave Joe a shot to do it this way and when their backs were firmly against the wall he told him to fuck off and make some adjustments.

I'll always remember the 1982 series where the Celts went into game 6 down 3-1, won game 6 in Philly and I think it was Bob Cousy doing play by play. Before the game he said (paraphrasing) "i'm pretty sure they will win game 6 but I am worried about game 7. "
I'm worried about game 7. But it's nice to have the worry.

So all his bad decisions are his and all his good decisions were secretly someone else? Ok.

One thing that would have made this game sweeter is if JT did the Sam Cassell, big balls gesture in front of Sam Cassell

I have been very critical of CJM. His in game adjustments are nonexistent. He looks like he smelled the worst fart ever most of the game….but I think game to game he knows what he’s doing. He’s a film junkie and he’s not too precious about his ideas. I think he made that call

At the end of the day we'll never know, but what we do know is the early series adjustment of Jaylen taking on guarding Harden was Jaylen's idea, Joe owned up to the no TO being dumb, and he's generally regarded as "stubborn". The conclusions you can draw from that are your own, but he had Tatum on PJ Fucking Brown for five games, so...

You're concluding he's bad at in-series adjustments based on his career total of 1.857 series?

Or maybe Mazzulla decided if his season was going to end, he was going to take the bubble wrap off TL.

If Tatum had been guarding PJ Brown I’d agree that would have been a bad call, considering PJ Brown retired 15 years ago…

Philly should feel terrible about this game.
They had Boston on the mat into the fourth and let it slip away. The Cs did their part and played tough down the stretch but the 76ers had it.

Please come out strong on Sunday. Give the crowd a reason to go fucking berserk. Give Harden and Embiid a reason to turtle and give up. Make Doc start to think of excuses why losing the series wasn’t his fault.
just start off with a punch in the mouth and see if the Sixers can respond. I don’t think they can
