I wonder if he's going to clap back at the Boston media after this one...
I want to also say this isn’t Mazzulla’s fault. He was put in an absolutely impossible position. A 34 year old coach with no experience where it’s basically Finals or bust.

This goes back to fuck Udoka with a rusty spike. I will forever watch him and root for him to fall on his fucking face. Fuck him. “They had to make a choice and they chose that”. Fucking piece of shit

And it's not some kind of surprise or disaster that Coach Joe is getting outcoached. It's just too bad. I'm not saying Ime was some kind of savant or way better, but he was clearly more experienced and he would have been building on what he learned, etc. This is just deer in the headlights seeming at times. Which, again, is not that surprising. Just disappointing.

Celtics running uphill the first 3 quarters of the last two games. Never in this one. They can win two in a row, but it's tough to see a way they pull that off.

deep inside Guido territory
Honestly…this is why I think Mazzulla’s not a good coach. He’s getting put in the spin cycle by fucking Doc Rivers. Literally no one has ever said Doc was a good in game coach. Again, no one has ever said this. He’s fucking smoking Mazzulla. That’s incredibly disconcerting
To be fair, a coach looks a lot better when everyone’s shots are falling and that’s what happening for Doc tonighy

Exactly.

Yes, Udoka’s team did this last year…but thay was his first year. The expectation is that you learn from that.

Now we are back to square one with Mazzulla and it’s the same shit

Brown with three turnovers, four missed FTs, and that chase down block is 12-14 possible points not scored

I just don’t see how coaching changes anything with this game or this team. It’s a good but not perfect team that is extremely streaky. It was that way under Stevens, Ime and now Mazzula. They had a ton of wide open looks tonight.

IMO, the biggest material adverse event was RWill’s injury. Their defense was helped a lot last season when he was mobile defender, and their rebounding was decent with him and Horford on floor. That was their peak. They have not gotten back to that level of performance since then.

The only one of those that matter to me is Stevens. These are two rookie head coaches in a row. It’s just like a rookie player, you learn and get better as you are on the job.

It’s very clear that this group needs an ass kicker. Mazzulla may be the opposite of that. I bet you in his postgame conference he says this was a great game
