Second year in a row that Monty wedges him in after missing a chunk of the end of the season. Communication and fitness both awful, to say nothing of his ability level.
They’re not a conference finals, Stanley Cup contender good, but come on there’s 24 other teams playing fucking golf today.

Doesn’t help that their three highest paid defensemen are also dogshit. McAvoy is a mental midget, and Lindholm and Carlo are soft as puppyshit.
I do not have the hockey IQ to know if this is strictly a Forbort problem, but I certainly think it’s a coaching/approach problem.
I want that changed. I think the personnel is ill suited to do what they’re being asked to do from the top down. All the forwards AND defensemen have made horrendous plays trying to exit the puck from a zone. And this has been going on in the regular and postseason.
To my untrained eye/brain? That’s coaching.

The way our offense is playing, we will be lucky to score 4 goals the rest of the series, no way we get 4 the rest of this game.
They had their chances but that might have done it for this one. Get one in the third to build some confidence and regroup for game 4.
Bruins roster is getting badly exposed here. Definitely over performed during the regular season, but hard to keep that up against a quality opponent. Florida's 2nd and 3rd lines are way better than Boston's and it's not close.

Yeah just not enough talent up front. Swayman has kept this close (until the PP), but they need more horses.
Yeah no I’m not absolving them, the bigger problem is that they have about $17 million invested in defensemen that look like they can’t play in the playoffs. At least they could have the decency to also suck in the regular season so we could at least rebuild. But no, they’re going to be good enough to make the playoffs and maybe squeak out if the first round and then have to rebuild in 5 years.
The Forbort thing is a minor annoyance that further tells me that on top of our best players being absolutely whimps in the playoffs, we got the wrong fucking coach.
Funny what sports does to the brain. I knew this was just bonus hockey, that the Bruins are certainly not deep or talented enough to win the cup, that they were really not likely to win another series - and yet, I am angry at what I am watching.
Major problem. Lucky it didn’t kill them last series. Last 4 periods they have been outshot 50-17. Not good .
Teams have come back from 3 down in this very postseason. Maybe makes someone feel better to boo, but as unlikely as coming back from 3 down is, it’s even harder if you can’t get a little support.

That’s probably why McAvoy and Lindholm are trying to hard and fucking up. Problem is they don’t have the roster, and top line centers aren’t available in free agency. You gotta pick top 5 to get them. They’re unfortunately stuck in a loop as an organization unless they can pull a rabbit out of the hat.
