No one in the top 6 closes the game, Pritchard was clearly gassed and Hauser couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. The Kings needed that game badly (they are now tied with the Lakers for 8th spot), and they couldn't seal the deal. Great fun.

Hopefully that doesn’t put Hauser in a slump, but by the end he was just missing because he had nothing in the tank. Shouldn’t be a problem in his 15 playoff mins a game.

Just finished watching the game. Man that was close. I like that Mazzulla stuck with the 2nd unit down the stretch and they were able to squeak it out.

That is an interesting question. I think PP and Hauser could reasonably be in the discussion as well.
Thats fair...Kornet is my Most Improved because I wasn't really expecting much. I had a good feeling about Hauser and PP coming into the season as our #7/8 players in the rotation.

The switch flipped for Luke. He just got a lot more aggressive on the boards & became a PnR threat. Stopped jumping for head fakes on D and became a rim deterrent. Hope Brad brings him back (at least 2 of Luke, Tillman, & Queta)

Here
I think you can argue Jaylen for his defense alone, and obviously his decision-making with the ball has been night and day from year’s past.

I hope Brad brings back 2 of Luke & Tillman, because they're the only ones in that list who are good at basketball.

Ha. Me too. Unfortunately, every dollar spent is going to be pricey, so both Luke + Tillman may be considered a luxury next season. I'm a damn the tax when in real contention fan, but I could see some UFA demand for one or both.

Queta on a minimum contract, beef center, 4th string depth would be nothing to be concerned about.

He was fantastic end-of-the-roster value this season. On a 2-way contract (no tax implications by freeing up the 15th spot), he gave them 300 productive minutes, mostly in the dog days of December. He was the only guy from Maine who gave something to the C's this season (Please don't make me go back to the Jordan Walsh binky thread to read about all the rotational benefits he was going to give the C's this season )

Queta's earned that 14/15th shot, if one of X/LK moves on.
