Was this the Missouri coach who whined about playing BC because it was so far out of the geographic footprint? And now they don't want to play Kansas?

Michigan should throw its game vs Purdue to fuck over Ohio State (it wouldn’t prob matter but maybe upon maybe keep thrm out of the playoff. Alabama doesn’t deserve it though, at all)

There was talk if Williams won he might win the Hiesman. I think it was a stretch already.
He's the runaway favorite still. Not being able to move for the last 2 quarters of the season won't cost him the Heisman. He dominated the game in the 1st quarter until he couldn't move.

I don't see how that could possibly hurt Ohio State in any material way. They'd still be #4, ahead of Alabama and USC. The only thing it would affect is Michigan swapping #2 & #3 with TCU (assuming TCU had won their game).

Indeed. Alex Grinch is no miracle worker. He couldn't save the OU defense. He can't make the most of what USC has at defense.
In other words all the guys they brought in as transfers weren't on that side of the ball.

Adrian Martinez in street clothes on the KSU sideline. They are now forced to play their more effective QB. Oh the horror.

That looked shoulder to shoulder? Show a replay

edit - replay still appears shoulder to shoulder. Just head snapped bc of contact
edit 2 - good overturn

I don’t love the lack of middle ground between no call and an ejection there. Seems like that should be 15.

Nice, they got that right

Wonder if the lack of middle ground is similar to when they got rid of the 5-yard face mask in the NFL. Probably not but do wonder why

 They'd drop TCU behind Alabama?
They have to fuck around and put an undefeated TCU in but it’s pretty hard to take seriously the idea that TCU is better than Bama so given a loss (if it happens), I think they have to get TCU out of there.

This is a rule that has to be adjusted in the offseason. I’d like to see similar to the NBA’s Flagrant 1 & 2……have a Targeting 1 & 2.

Because beating Kansas State is better than any win that Alabama has. TCU played an extra game. TCU beat Texas at Texas more easily than Alabama did (and Alabama played most of the game against Texas backup QB).

Alabama has no very good wins. A K State win would be better than any Alabama win, by far.
No good wins? Blew out ranked Arkansas on the road and beat a top 10 team at the time in Ole Miss on the road. Their two losses were on the road to top 10 teams by 3 and by 1. If TCU had that resume people would be clamouring for them due to their strength of schedule and ranked road wins.

Those teams are … not good … despite pre season rankings. Bama’s best win is at Texas and that was a last second kinda lucky win at that.

This is all moot. TCU is going to win.

Wow. Another huge momentum swing after it looked like the punt fumble put TCU back on track.
