Not cocky at all.For people in the NY area, after the Game 4 comeback and the Game 5 shutout, how cocky were Yankee fans?

Doesn't that entirety depend on the bullpen?Seems like the plan was not to have him face the lineup a third time.
Pretty sound strategy in a Game 7

Honestly, I would really enjoy it. My blood pressure would be low because I don't really have a rooting interest, but there's a TON of fun talent on both sides, and a lot of guys on both teams who haven't gotten a championship yet that I would like to see get one. And a team that hasn't won in almost 30 years, against a team that has never won. I think it will be good games and good for the sport, to be honest.seriously nothing wrong with a dodgers-astros world series if it happens.
You get your money's worth at their shows, that is for sure.I will be there. Going to the Barclays show, too.
Seriously, DDB was channeling my thoughts. Sox in 04 had a lot more seasoning than these astros.I am not quite sure actually. I've wondered that many times.
I still have trouble making it through Four Days In October.
I'm looking in to going to their show in Oakland on the 9th of December with Weezer, Foster the People, and Walk the Line. I've wanted to see The Killers for a long time, and never have. You get your money's worth at their shows, that is for sure.
The ones I am around they aren't cocky. A lot of them were just happy to see the Yankees in this position. Quite the change from 10-15 years ago.For people in the NY area, after the Game 4 comeback and the Game 5 shutout, how cocky were Yankee fans?
Also probably the two most talented teams in MLB.Honestly, I would really enjoy it. My blood pressure would be low because I don't really have a rooting interest, but there's a TON of fun talent on both sides, and a lot of guys on both teams who haven't gotten a championship yet that I would like to see get one. To a point, sure. But Hinch is going with his starters, who he trusts more than his bullpen guysDoesn't that entirety depend on the bullpen?
Terrifying. That's us in 10 years re: the Patriots. Assuming football still exists. The ones I am around they aren't cocky. A lot of them were just happy to see the Yankees in this position. Quite the change from 10-15 years ago.
Yeah, even during the World Series, I walked into the bank the morning of game 4 where they knew me. One guy said ‘your Red Sox have it made now.’ I went all ‘Lowe goes tonight, who had a bad year; Wakefield tomorrow, got lit up in game 1’ etc., etc. They were like you’re paranoid. Yup.I am not quite sure actually. I've wondered that many times.

And some great stars in Kershaw, Verlander, Turner, Altuve. And of course, Puig. Also probably the two most talented teams in MLB.
Certainly the Dodgers are one of the two.
He was calling for it all the waythat might be the dumbest greatest catch I've ever seen
Right. It's still the best ever, though. If you're scoring at home, Judge's catch is now the fourth best play in this particular game 7.
Yeah, but once the LF is in position there, he has no room to get out of the way, given his momentum. That’s the CF’s ball
Jimmy G keeps the train rolling!! No, that will be us Pats fans pining for the Brady Years.Terrifying. That's us in 10 years re: the Patriots. Assuming football still exists.
The only better play is the throw at the plate. If you're scoring at home, Judge's catch is now the fourth best play in this particular game 7.
Looked like he was waiting for a bus.Gotta love the the leftfielder's blasé pose after the centerfielder steals his ball.
Incorrect, and pro-Yankees.The only better play is the throw at the plate.
Suzyn was asking players how it felt to be one game from the World Series before game 6. She closed the intro with that line too.For people in the NY area, after the Game 4 comeback and the Game 5 shutout, how cocky were Yankee fans?
Why are you acting like Judge's play was routine? It was a phenomenal catch. Springer's catch this inning was significantly more routine.Incorrect, and pro-Yankees.
CF supposed to check. That's how I was taught. Nowhere for LF to go. Maybe I'm wrong. He was calling for it all the way
Are you a Yankees fan? Because this is specifically the non-Yankees fan thread. Why are you acting like Judge's play was routine? It was a phenomenal catch. Springer's catch this inning was significantly more routine.
Springer may not have known that thoughThe LF was parked under it though.
