Hopefully, his banged up foot from Monday and his generally aged body just needs a couple of days to bounce back from too much second base (3x in the last week).

Tuesday brought us a rather dull deadline,
making some nervous folks in this thread whine,
fearing the Sox would play like a dead nine,
but they responded, focused, and said “fine,”
won and gained ground, so that’s the real headline.
(It is like finding gold in a lead mine.)
Let’s win again, and we’ll drink some red wine,
leave the West Coast, and all get to bed fine.

Crawford is looking good. I hope my complimenting him isn't a jinx, but I don't see anyone talking about him being dominant or mowing..., so I guess I'll be the one.
I can't fathom swinging at the first pitch or allowing Chang to swing at the first pitch following a leadoff walk.
I honestly never thought Duran was going to recover from that Blue Jays fiasco in center last year, but he’s been terrific.
I cannot believe how down I was on Duran last season and how much he's proven me (and I am certain many others) so wrong.
It's crazy how good he is. Are we just going to get 4-5 more years of peak performance like this?? What a beast.
Chang's a lousy bunter. Might as well let him try to run into a fastball.
