Wow, two long ABs in a row and Crawford and Wong emerge triumphant.
I am enjoying this game quite a bit now that I have muted and am calling it myself.

Filthy pitch by Crawford there, especially impressive against a guy like Julio. Crawford has to be one of the best stories of the year.
I think he's a wonderful still somewhat under-the-radar story. We all think of Bello and Casas and Duran and Yoshida, but Crawford has been incredibly important to this team. Big surprise for me.

Just about 60 years ago, when I was a wee sprout, my grannie -- known as Nana Banana -- took me to my first Sox game. I don't know who they played or who won, but I remember coming up the tunnel and seeing the vivid green grass.

So here I am today with my 6-year-old grandson. Tagging along are my wife, both stepdaughters, their partners, and my other three grandkids (ages 3, 1 and 11 months). Plus a friend.

I forked out $300+ and these ingrates are all rooting for the Mariners. Fuck that. Win it for Nana Banana.

And Connor Wong has also been a good story
Hopefully in a short time we can also be saying that Story has been a good story too

Not to get all nostalgic Nana Banana's grandson, but that's my only recollection of my first game at Fenway too, with my family as we walked up the tunnel and the explosion of colors ... the green, green grass on a sunsplashed summer day with a kaleidoscope of shirt colors (this is before everyone bought team jerseys).

Raffy if you are going to publicly ask to have some of your pitcher teammates replaced, then you need to hit better than this.
