He's on pace for close to 60 appearances, and a lot of them have been multi-inning, high leverage spots. it does not surprise me if he is wearing down already.

Yes he's not good at all and drags Middlebrooks down. The only thing worse than Wake in a three man booth is Wake in a two man booth.
Isn’t Winckowski’s relative struggles likely just regression to the mean? He has a 4.75 FIP, was at 4.95 last year.
