Jacob Webb pitched a scoreless 7th & Wyatt Olds is in for Portland for the 1st time since his not very good FCL rehab stint.

Olds pitched a scoreless 8th with a walk & 2 strikeouts, but Portland still lost 7-5.

Pretty sure I already said all the interesting hitting things.

Salem is losing 3-0, but they did get their 1st hit in the bottom of the 5th, a Lyonell James double.

Salem added a 2nd run on an Alexis Hernandez groundout scoring Jhostynxon Garcia.

Jhostynxon came in on one of the odder defensive substitution changes, replacing Cutter Coffey who started at SS & moved to 3B.

Jhostynxon came in at CF.

Alexis Hernandez moved from CF to RF.

Albert Feliz moved from RF to LF.

Yorberto Mejicano moved from LF to 1B.

Lyonell James moved from 1B to 3B.

& Luis Ravelo who started at 3B had moved to SS.

Thus far only their 2B (Mikey Romero) & C (Enderso Lira) are playing where they started the game.

Coffey was hit by a pitch. Not sure if that's what caused the chain reaction.

BVB pitched 5 innings today, allowing only 1 run on a solo homer. 6 hits, 0 walks & 5 strikeouts. Done after 87 pitches including 61 strikes. His best AAA appearance, yet.

After Cruz struggled through 2/3 of an inning with a 2-run homer, Luis De La Rosa (Benny trade) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts.

Jhonny Felix pitched 1.2 scoreless innings, 1 hit, 2 walks.

Jonathan Brand came in for the last out of the 8th.

BVB pitched 5 innings today, allowing only 1 run on a solo homer. 6 hits, 0 walks & 5 strikeouts. Done after 87 pitches including 61 strikes. His best AAA appearance, yet.

Chase Shugart pitched a scoreless 6th with 2 hits & a strikeout.

Justin Hagenman pitched a scoreless 7th despite a leadoff hit.

Worcester down 1-0 heading into the bottom of the last.

Brand also pitched a scoreless 9th, lowering his ERA to 1.11. Might be time for a promotion.

He had 2 strikeouts, but allowed an RBI single after the 1st one.

Ryan Fitzgerald struck out to start the Worcester inning. Manfred Man Abreu still on 2nd.

Stephen Scott groundout moves him to 3rd, but a bit late for productive baseball.

Ronaldo Hernandez pinch hits for Niko, but flies out to end the game.
