Celts make free throws, so fouling them was pointless. Mavs have a 11PM reservation at Kowloon.
It looked like they were waiting until a certain player got the ball before they fouled, but then realized that certain player wasn't one of the 5 on the court.

I must have blacked out at the end. Weren't there like 23 seconds on the clock that the Mavs let run out? Or was it not that much?

edit: wait 25 since there was a shot clock violation. LOL Kidd
NBA.com had Luka's miss at 27 seconds. I still can't believe DAL didn't foul at least once.

Late excitement aside, thought that was a really mature victory. They weren’t falling for the most part but they kept working for good shots, never once let the misses affect their D, and kept working their way into the paint.

And let’s face it, it was only close at the end after phantom calls handed Dallas 5 points at the line.

Luka is the first Mavs player to [insert stat here] in Finals history. That's like saying Byron Leftwich is tied for the most touchdowns in Jaguars Super Bowl history

After the Celtics win games 3 and 4 in Dallas, I really hope they leave the MVP trophy in their locker room urinal.

Well, they’ve identified their narrative. A non-foul on a play that would still have had Dallas down 3.
Right. And let's do a slo-mo of every contested drive this whole game. We'll see similar contact.

That said, glad they didn't call it. Cs were getting tight there at the end.

Yeah, all the whining about a non-call after the Mavs got the benefit of the doubt every other time they drove late in the game.

Derrick White looks like someone who’s just happy to have been invited to the party.

This team is so cool.
