I feel like I remember a few times where teams have scored 7 in a few seconds.. Reggie Miller? The C's at one point in the 80s?
Man, I hope the Celtics win the series for a multitude of reasons. One of them being we'll maybe never hear, "The two greatest closers of all time."
Luka earned the 11 assists tonight but goddamn if @TomRicardo isn’t spot on with the rebounds. Not a one of them was contested.
It’s been almost the full season and I’m still kind of in disbelief that they somehow added Jrue Holiday to this team.
The 8 Luka turnovers and the horrid free-throw shooting (with a side of shitty 3-point shooting) were the game for the Mavs.
Tatum had a baaad shooting game but was still a solid net positive. Jrue called him out specifically for his playmaking.
Mavs just cant sustain lockdown defense for long stretches. There are probably stats on it, but seemed like celtics had many more easy-ish shots.
Easily a C-tier game for the Cs with converting the looks they had, though the distribution was absolutely fantastic, let alone the consistent defensive effort. But with specific respect to the shooting, that's got to be discouraging if you're Dallas that we shot that poorly and still couldn't win? Really weren't in it for the vast majority of the second half either.

Celtics free throw defense was a big part of the story tonight.
Haven't seen the Celtics offense play this poorly since G2 against Cleveland. But the Mavs were again held to under 100. As long as KP is OK for G3, it's all good.

Tatum and Brown combined for 19 assists tonight, it’s pretty awesome seeing the stars so unselfish.
When it happened live I thought it was a foul. But you're right, they haven't been calling that all game.
I think DW hit the ball before he got to the rim and sped up his motion so that he couldn't get it over the rim. Or he misjudged his leap because he was worried about the two guys behind him.. he definitely looked back.
They are very sad the Celtics are 2 wins from another banner, have some sympathy for them in this trying time

Celtics shooting like 27% from three and still win this game. The defense and taking it to the rim won this game.
