Don’t get the intentional walk with a pitcher who had control issues.
Don’t get keeping players in positions where they don’t play well, especially when their bats don’t warrant it.
Don’t get the inability to play fundamentally sound baseball for more than a few innings at a time.

The rain delay doesn't wipe out the Rockies runs, if anyone's thinking that it might if this gets called

Can you please whip up a short four line poem to at least make us feel like all is well and none of this matters anyway?

I was a Huge Casas fan heading into this season. I really thought he was going to be a special player. Now maybe he will still be that, but the player I have seen so far looks lost in a lot of ways. I really wonder if a trip down to AAA for a bit may be best for all involved. Give him some time to work on some stuff, bring up Bobby and see what he can do. If Casas shows improvement then great bring him back up. If Bobby does well maybe you trade one of them and get something out of that too.

I'm glad he's being given a shot in a ML rotation on a team like the Rockies. I thought he could turn into a decent back end of a rotation guy but time is running out on him. Or..... more likely he'll turn into an ace tonight after the Sox hack away at crappy offerings, strand runners all over the place and score two runs while Crawford tosses 6 innings and they lose 3-2. Or... maybe not. Maybe they beat the snot out of a crappy pitcher.
Fuck this shit!!!

Only if it was the top of the 5th. So no.
Not quite. If the visiting team scored runs in the top of an inning after the fifth and the rains came to the extent the game was called, it used to revert to the score at the previously completed inning. This this would get suspended and resumed tomorrow

We hope for water. Instead it’s just wet.
We wait and wonder how bad things will get.
Things look awful now, but we’re still a threat.
We have not lost in extra innings yet.

If Jacques comes out of the game, gets sent back down to Pawtucket, and never gets back to the majors, he's going to have one of the stranger career stat lines.
