And he got beat off the dribble a bunch too. That’s the killer.Jrue’s stats in this playoff run are pretty fucking gruesome
It’s fine, it’s one game. Inexcusable effort but still one game.

I’m very very concerned it’s going to be an albatrossInk isn’t dry and I am already a little concerned about this deal. He was invisible tonight.
sure but even on low quality looks you’ll usually shoot better than 20 pct of whatever they shot. and i thought they were mostly good looks myselfYeah but I didn’t think they worked for nearly as good quality looks tonight as they did on Tuesday. Offense was sluggish and bogged down after they came out hot to start the game.
Zero games of consequence to Eastern Conference teams in the regular season.Lost 4 games at home all regular season and lost 2 to Miami and Cleveland in 5
Especially when it may prevent them from signing whiteProbably need more than 4/2/3 from Jrue as well.
Extension is not aging well.
yes. frustrating. i do think horford was the recipient of a couple of those but they seem more into forcing awkward five footers these daysI can't recall maybe more than once or twice that the guy who drove into the heart of the defense gave the ball up. Drive and kick was non-existent.
Totally agree, but I understand the negativity. Just remember how dominant the 2008 Cs were and they played 2 less than the maximum number of games during those playoffs. (Two 7-game series and two 6-game series.)I can’t believe that people really think the Celtics are going to lose this series….
folks, it’s not happening.
I said it at the start of the series and I will repeat it again…..Celtics in 5
Can’t agree. 37-4, 3-2.Zero games of consequence to Eastern Conference teams in the regular season.
Really both games. Game 1 was a little on edge until Luke came in.Horford has gotten absolutely bbq'd all game.
JB and DW didn't even play 32 minutes. I didn't love the performance from either, but c'mon...Really both games. Game 1 was a little on edge until Luke came in.
Playing Tillman in the fourth in a game that’s well within reach is a fireable offense. This isn’t a December game. Shorten the rotations.
And the starters all played low 30s minutes in Game 1. They can’t possibly be tired.JB and DW didn't even play 32 minutes. I didn't love the performance from either, but c'mon...
Seriously. If we advance we need to win games 1 and B at home the next two series.Next series, skip Game 2 please.
I mean, that’s what they’ve been doing.Next series, skip Game 2 please.
you're in a proper space to deal with that crapI don’t think it worked, but on the plus side, I don’t regret trying.
No I’ve always felt G2 was our danger game. I still felt we’d take care of business but Mitchell and Garland were on fire while I was disappointed in Joe not showing urgency by playing so much 2nd unit in 2H while Cleveland was wiping the floor with us with Mitchell on the floor. It’s the playoffs…you need to coach with a little Thibs in you. Rotating Kornet and Tillman while Tatum in on the bench down 10 and in the danger zone is inexcusable this time of year.Where are you on this series? Worried at all?
Points in the paint were huge, especially in the first half. The Cavs were running a layup line and the Celts didn't really adjust.Guess I'm not overly bummed I missed this one, but the box would argue that 3P shooting variance was a lot of it. Normalize both teams and the 24 point separation becomes 106-109, Cs losing by 3.
Seems like people didn't like the effort, and the -13 on the boards would support that, but only 7 TO, Cs took 8 more free throws (usually an effort indicator), and the offensive rebounds were basically the same. Seems mostly like the Cs just missed a shit-ton of shots.
This right here. Or even deux. We're talking nomenclature, people.Seriously. If we advance we need to win games 1 and B at home the next two series.
because horford and kornet were so much better?Really both games. Game 1 was a little on edge until Luke came in.

I dreamt last night that they traded both JT and JB. So I guess I slept, at least.Anyone else have insomnia from last night’s (lack of) effort?
agree---the Celts missed a ton of shots--even the close in easy ones were bouncing around and the Cavs were hitting 3s--a little more physicality on Mobley would be nice and the Cavs did a good job of keeping off of MitchellGuess I'm not overly bummed I missed this one, but the box would argue that 3P shooting variance was a lot of it. Normalize both teams and the 24 point separation becomes 106-109, Cs losing by 3.

agree here as well--it seems every once in a while, Joe just goes into this zone of let's play the second unit no matter what and then zones outNo I’ve always felt G2 was our danger game. How did that work out?I dreamt last night that they traded both JT and JB. So I guess I slept, at least.
