I’ll give you this…they are a lot better than Reggie (who I believe you like as well?)
I don’t mind Reggie. I would prefer Tommy but he’s dead and my other options suck. Reggie always roots for offense. He like hoops.

As for TNT, Chuck is a great personality and super entertaining.

Replay is still so fuckin dumb by the way. You can change calls on replay all the time but certain things, like a double dribble, you have to just pretend didn’t happen even as you watch it in super slow motion because of some arbitrary rule.

So, would that be like the Pats fumbling the ball after the Butler interception and Seattle returning it for a touchdown?

where I was last at
A little dash of reality.

The BEAT LA CHANT was born out of a home G7 LOSS IN 1982 ECF after the Celts came back from down 1-3
They can't take anything for granted.

They gotta be the toughest Mfers on the planet Monday and flat beat the shit out of Heat

Outside the missed fts, I think literally every bad thing that happened the last 3-4 minutes was Al’s fault. I can’t bust Joe, every coach does it, but man I wish coaches would watch the game and give Timelord some run.

I agree with this. I like Chuck. He can be a goofball and not very informative but he’s entertaining.

I don’t like Shaq and him together. IMO, Shaq ruined the chemistry of the show

Shouldn’t get lost in the late madness that the Celtics played a damn good grindy game for like 44.5 minutes. While it feels like they stole one, it required Miami stealing it first. Celtics deserved the win.
I did think they played pretty dumb for good stretches of Q2 (the last 4 min or so) and Q3. Could have really stretched the lead into the 15-20 point range. Q4 was more running out of gas including the usual no movement offense down the stretch.

Can we agree that MFY fans are rooting for the Celts?
Absolutely not. They already aren't the only team to blow a 3-0 lead. They're just the only baseball team to do it. Now if a team from the same city becomes the only team to do it in their respective sport, 2004 will get mentioned twice as often.

My wife couldn’t comprehend this. I was celebrating like a goof and she’s saying, but it says final, they lost.
Ha. So, my wife is almost always in the room with me when there are night games and I am generally a very chill person, ice cold. She said my aggression was “a little too much for her after this game. A little bit triggering.” I said yes, slapped my hands got up slapped the inside of the door jamb pretty hard, said FUCK YOU MIAMI, and then the part that is relevant to your comment; fix that score bitch, the Celtics won.

Dude that almost happened on the same play. Hightower was incredibly close to stripping the ball out trying to get Butler to go down.

I think because the refs announced it all at once, and Harlan didn't explain it people thought the 3 pt change was from the challenge and not just being announced at the same time
You're being kind which is nice but NBA fans should know that's an auto review to determine if 3 shots or 2.

After going up 10 with 4:56 left, the Celtics scored 4 points the rest of the way up until that miracle tip-in. Nearly cost them the season.

1. I’m so happy I don’t have to be pissed that Smart took the final shot of the season.

2. I’m so happy I don’t have to be pissed at Smart for not passing it back to a wide open D White

3. I’m so happy I don’t have to be pissed that D White didn’t pass to a wide open Jaylen Brown on the outside block

4. I’m so happy.

Have you seen the clip where Chuck is showing how San Antonio women gobble up churros while Shaq is goading him? :D

I love Charles Barkley.

What a hustle play to get to the rim for White too. Just wow. Sports are the shit. Sometimes.

I had a bad feeling all day with all of the media talk that they’d fall prey to the narrative of feeling like it was destiny or something. Pretty great they held them to 103 in Miami.

Reggie brings zero interesting thoughts to the game though.. he's like the Tony Romo of basketball announcing with less analysis.

So that White putback was the Cs only bucket in the last FOUR MINUTES FIFTY-FIVE SECONDS.

And they were only 4-of-6 from the line during that time.

Watched this one at the Harp. The atmosphere inside and around the Garden after was electric, as expected. How I imagine what the atmosphere was like outside the Cask after Game 6 in ‘04.
