Many years ago, the last men’s league game that I played with Joe Mazzulla’s father on my team, we were down by one late and it was a similar situation. We gave up the lead late. Our game winning shot attempt missed long, and we both went for the tip at the same time. We crashed into each other, the tip rimmed in and out, and we lost

Reggie brings zero interesting thoughts to the game though.. he's like the Tony Romo of basketball announcing with less analysis.
That’s fine for me, I don’t need a lot of analysis in the moment. Doris, JVG, and Jackson actively piss me off. Reggie is just background noise.

Outside the missed fts, I think literally every bad thing that happened the last 3-4 minutes was Al’s fault. I can’t bust Joe, every coach does it, but man I wish coaches would watch the game and give Timelord some run.
Smart lost Robinson for the wide open three that he hit. Smart lost Robinson on the back cut. Smart was late on the three by Butler.

I can't help but just concentrate on what he's saying and it annoys the f**k out of me. He actively has been rooting for whoever is playing the Celts this playoff run.. but you're right.. the announcing options for the NBA all pretty much suck.

So that White putback was the Cs only bucket in the last FOUR MINUTES FIFTY-FIVE SECONDS.

And they were only 4-of-6 from the line during that time.
I think they should’ve been at the line a bit more if they got butler calls?
Also sss on FTs is weird, because 5/6 would’ve beeen 83% which is above their season avg of 81 that was good for 4th best in league. But also who gives a f*ck haha. LFG!!!!

I am so beside myself with happiness.

I had a pretty shitty day and was in a foul mood and this game... man.

I'm so happy right now.
I also had a horrible day, one day after getting some bad news about my heart stress test.

I’m not going to say that this team is going to kill me, but please handle crunch time leads properly

Tatum was bumped in the air on a drive when they were still up by four or so.. it was in between two trips to the line for Butler. Bam jumped out at him and got him with body, but had his arms up.. Tatum doesn't fall down like Butler so he didn't get the call.

Didn't feel like either team's offense was all that good for most of the game.. the second half had zero flow because their was a foul call every other time down the floor.

Grande & Max made this evening so much more tolerable during what was a terribly stressful stretch.

All but Butler’s were before the final 3 I think, and he was right in Jimmy’s grill for the three that somehow bricked in. That going in was nearly impossible. It was a line drive that was solidly back iron.

I promise you that my day wasn't as bad as yours, so I'm sorry. I hope tomorrow is better for you my friend. (my day was just shitty, not "horrible", so I will take shitty all the time.)

Hugs and I hope tomorrow is awesome.

Yeah.. I've been watching games ..or not watching games.. with the sound off because I just want to hear homers I guess.. I'll have to try and stream Grande and Max on monday.

I'm going on a trip to Europe for a month starting on Tuesday... I'm going to have to hopefully find a bar in Madrid, Barcelona, Zurich and maybe Paris where I can watch the finals.

Miami lost a second home closeout game where their opponent shot 20% from three,

Boston 8-1 in closeout games the past two seasons

It’s so late. I was doing this for 2 of the losses. Shit was starting at 2:30am where I was.

Yikes. Maybe playoff sports aren't what the doctor ordered.

You're probably right on the time... and of course Jimmy's shot just had to go in.

I’m calling it right now. Memorial Day Massacre Monday night for Miami, similarly on how Game 7 went for the Yankees when they were historically reverse swept
