Sometimes instead of a post-game interview with the sideline reporter if the stage is close to the court in that building they ask if a player is willing to go up to the set to talk with the guys... most teams have a guy who wants to, because... well TV, also hall of fame players guys like
It's a season ender if the refs didn't add time back onto the clock during the review. It was 2.7 seconds or something, then they pushed it to 3.0 after the review.
Pretty sure that isn't the case anymore, they auto-review all clock violation shots, only thing it matters for is coach's challenges.
Don't forget the most important steal in Celtics history : Henderson game 2 1984 finals (celts go down 2-0 if he doesn't make that steal)
How do you figure? They always check the feet on a foul. They certainly were going to for that shot, challenge or no challenge.

Glad they won a grinder and won it shooting poorly to kind of take care of a couple narratives heading into G7.

The Gamethread forum name here puts a smile on my face every time I see it. And if Rocco wasn't dead, that game might've killed him. At the very least, wherever he is, he has had to get a few replacement TV remotes. But I also like to think he's been our good luck charm... and damn have we needed it.

Why did Joe bench Time Lord last few minutes? I know he doesn’t give much offensively but they still had the lead and Jimmy was doing nothing. They put Al on him and he puts Heat ahead on the two fouls.

The C's are 8-1 when facing elimination over the past 2 seasons. And a lot of those wins are on the road.
Yeah, they shouldn't have gone down 0-3, but it's hard to win in the playoffs, it's hard to win on the road in the playoffs, it's hard to keep winning with your backs against the wall. It won't always be pretty, and won't always be a blowout. Early in the Pats run, there was a lot of ugly 16-13 type wins, you take them and move on.
Kenny The Gerbil and Shaq definitely are rooting for the Heat (as is Reggie). I think Chuck wants the Celtics to win (I would guess he has some $ on the Celtics)
I swore that was in. If nothing else, it could have bounced around like the Kawhi three and not given White the chance at a putback when it rolled off.
Shouldn’t get lost in the late madness that the Celtics played a damn good grindy game for like 44.5 minutes. While it feels like they stole one, it required Miami stealing it first. Celtics deserved the win.
