If he's smart, he will eat the fine and not talk after the game. There is nothing to say.
If he’s smart he comes out and just goes nuclear on the officials. Shit, it doesn’t matter in this game but this team needs all the help on the margins it can get. And Joe, maybe in between watching The Town for the fucking millionth time, should look in the mirror and realize he’s getting absolutely clowned by the opposing coach. Any chance of getting an advantage

I’ve never seen a team that shoots this well go this cold in a series. It’s kind of stunning.

How many times will they talk about “not making shots” instead of being gutless chicken shits that are mentally in Cancun? If they get swept, Joe gotta go.

Having flashbacks to all the dreamy regular season articles about our winter sports teams.

Not wild about Mazzulla but willing to give him another season, if only because four coaches in four years sounds crazy for any team, let alone a contender. Plus the staff under went a severe brain drain. Stoudamire leaving was significant I think.
If Nurse wants this job then CJM should be thrown overboard immediately. He can get a job with a mediocre division 1 team

Gagging away Game 5 against Atlanta is all we needed to see. They never learned. Yeah they’re taking a beating tonight but if they weren’t soft as baby shit they’d be up 2-0 in this series and we’d be saying damn alright but hey this was always Miami’s game to win.

When you play an offensive system that is using deep depth and lots of 3 point shooting I think you risk this kind of stuff happening regularly in the playoffs. You can’t use your depth and teams can scheme away your 3s.

So glad I couldn't figure out how to get TNT on my son's television tonight.

Where does this rank in terms of all time Boston sports embarrassments? At least the Bruins were a minute away from winning a game 7.

Why is the defense White guarding the center in the paint and Rob guarding a guard at 3? There was no switch there. Rob is starting every play on the three point line. It's insane.

Not that it matter when shooting under 20% from 3 but...

2 of 3 are guys who are literally in the league because they're killers on open 3s
I'll give you Robinson, but Vincent shot 33.4% from deep this season (33.9% for his career) and Martin shot 35.6% this season and 36.0% for his career. This post season is completely bonkers for them shooting.

For those indicating Mazzulla should or will be back...ask yourself this: if he gets fired, what is his next job?

How is this the same team that started the season with all the thinkpieces about our soccer movement style offense.
At that point, the bad habits from lack of coaching though-out the season didn’t set in yet. I think it’s pretty clear the players don’t have much respect for CJM and are sort of running the ship on their own. And i don’t even blame CJM here. It was a terrible situation and he was put in an unfair spot. That said, I have a hard time seeing him as the head coach next year at this point. Looking back it the season and playoffs as a whole, their were a lot of red flags that were a sign of things to come. A number of defensive no shows and some meltdowns late on games in both the regular season and first 2 series. The talents there just need more direction and to change their mentality. It’s going to be an interesting off-season. Ok, now really going to bed.

As an aside, it's kind of depressing how lame this Miami crowd is. I know that's not a new take but damn they are quiet as hell.

21% from three and we are taking mostly good shots. I don’t know what can be done about that. Not the difference in the game, but that’s like 20 points left on the board as against good but not exceptional shooting.

To me that is nuts. You are literally the 2 seed in the east and moving toward the ECF finals - giving up on the coach and a split in the locker room is banana land.
They can be the two seed heading into the ECF in spite of the coach and not because of him. The idea that Al and Marcus deciced they have played more and know more about BB that CJM is not nuts to me.

Great response by the Unfin18hed Business crew, with a 17-32 third quarter. At least they didn’t give up 46 points in the quarter

this will match the 83 Celtics with their embarrassing sweep against Milwaukee.
