Same recollection but seems incorrect:I swear, Trout never does anything against the Sox
I hate this so much. He is must see TV when he pitches.Strider having a MRI on his pitching elbow.
That's the way the AL East is supposed to look.
When two teams are tied, I thought that the one that's first in alphabetical order and has more attractive fans is supposed to be listed on top.
Since the MFY have an MF in their name, they're always behind. When two teams are tied, I thought that the one that's first in alphabetical order and has more attractive fans is supposed to be listed on top.
He sounded super depressed to me in the clip I heard...hope your take is the right one and that I'm just projecting. He is talking to the media now. Doesn’t seem super stressed or depressed. That makes me a little hopeful.
Breslow time to recreate the Slocumb trade. He has started out every inning like that this year.
Eventually been getting 93-95 but still concerning.... he may be nearly cooked.
He went 4 and two thirds...Well done boys. Pissed away a great performance by Kutter.
First jack of the year for Reese. I have a feeling he's gonna beat his career high of 5 this year. I know we're all pulling for him.Reese JERKED it out!!!!
NY sports radio and fans were all gaga over the Yankees starting 6-1: “this is the year” and “the most anticipated home opener in a generation!”
I think he can pull himself quite sufficiently.First jack of the year for Reese. I have a feeling he's gonna beat his career high of 5 this year. I know we're all pulling for him.
I was going for the triple double (entendre) there.I think he can pull himself quite sufficiently.
That ump was great. One thing is though, in the old days we didn’t have the technology to see where the pitches were with such precision. OTOH again, what is wrong with these other umpires that are being exposed, with big screen HD TVs, the Amica pitch zone, etc., calling pitches 8 or 9 inches out of the song as strikes?According to https://umpscorecards.com/games/ the home plate umpire Alex Tosi had an accuracy of 99.4% last night. I don't ever remember watching a game where I was so impressed with so many calls on the black or an inch off called correctly for both teams all game long.
Now that I'm older one of the few things that bothers me during a game is inaccurate calls (more than, say, a squander or a nutpunch loss which I now accept as part of the game), and it's rare that a game is called so well that it becomes an enjoyable part of the event.

I guess you'll be playing a Powerball ticket with a 5 as the Powerball.
"Powerball game rules require that every single ticket sold nationwide be checked and verified against two different computer systems before the winning numbers are drawn. This is done to ensure that every ticket sold for the Powerball drawing has been accounted for and has an equal chance to win. Tonight, we have one jurisdiction that needs extra time to complete that pre-draw process," the statement continued.
Powerball also told players to hold onto their tickets for Saturday's drawing, as the drawing will go forward once the required pre-draw procedures have been completed.
