So, the amazing thing about them achieving this goal, is that it wasn't achieved at all the way we imagined it would.

We envisioned that it would happen because full seasons of Stanton, Judge, Sanchez and Bird could have had 170 HR's between them. But Stanton and Judge didn't go over 50 like we thought they could, and Judge only hit about half that. Sanchez didn't crack 20 and Bird just got into double digits.

They set the record because every other spot in the lineup far outpaced what was expected of them. Hicks, Andujar, Torres and even Romine flashed the power we were not sure they had. It makes the team very dangerous in the playoffs if they can get a couple people on base.
