Interesting, but what does it mean? I found this article from last spring…is this likely to be predictive of anything?
Eh, I mean not a lot. Throwing faster pitches with better shape is a good thing. But you need to layer in how deceptive the pitches are, how closely they mirror each other out of the pitcher's hand, & especially location.Interesting, but what does it mean? I found this article from last spring…is this likely to be predictive of anything?

The deception & mirroring part is why I find these PitchingNinja overlays so fun.Gotcha, thx.

I literally wrote about how similar it was to Mayer & then deleted it.That would be funnier if it wasn't exactly how Mayer just lost most of last season.
Yup, it's a good listen. Got into it a bit in the Podcast thread:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/soxprospects-com-podcast/id309680652?i=1000650445177
The SoxProspects episode has a lot of fun stuff of impressions from ST.
@JM3 Around 29 mins they get into Cespedes, and then Franklin Arias and then move to Bleis and Anthony.
If you are into prospects, you may need a break, a cigarette and a stiff drink after 10-15 mins of this.
They have Anthony as now 6’4 220, and looking improved from last year. That’s what you want to hear!
Teel at the plate: “Quick bat quick bat, quick bat. Come on meat, bring me that weak ass shit.”
