Xavier went to my alma mater. He’s a fantastic dude that I got to speak with a few times on trips back to Texas. So happy for him. He should’ve been drafted.

Fun for Jets fans but both of these teams looked shaky. First game, Rodgers, etc. all reasonable justifications of course. But I think they both looked beatable, or at least not stratospheres above the Pats.

This was the worst possible way to win for the Jets. Rodgers looks pretty hurt. The fortune is very, very, very poor. Months of buildup for Rodgers to be seriously injured in the first few minutes of the game without completing a single pass.
Beatable certainly, but I’d also be worried about getting out of both Jet games with a healthy Mac.
If this is his last game ever, then the Jets will be undefeated in games started by Aaron Rodgers, so there's that.

I think Rodgers’ previous contract was not guaranteed for injury in the second year until after this season, but his new deal is fully guaranteed.
