Gotta love the pitch clock. Last year it would have taken 1:15.Dalbec struck out in like 20 seconds.
NESN is really bad this spring.Uhh, want to acknowledge the HR? This is madness.
Luckily it won't happen during the regular season. Probably.Uhh, want to acknowledge the HR? This is madness.
Stephen Scott, Portland catcher.Who's that guy, with the tater?
Scott. He's an interesting guy, to me. Struggled really bad last year in A+, but crushed in the Arizona League and was pretty solid in A ball the year before that. I think he is solid depth at catcher, starting in AAA/AA.Who's that guy, with the tater?
Yeah, I hadn't realized he hit .300/.400/.600 in Arizona! I know that's an offensive environment, but wow.Scott. He's an interesting guy, to me. Scott hitting taters. 'Twas ever thus.Stephen Scott, Portland catcher.

Looked good. A big tall man with good control.Who's this Dermody guy? Not bad.
Upon further evaluation, dermody is someone with good control but zero plus offerings and usually doesn't miss bats, per the boys at SoxProspects. Still, not a bad depth guy. Maybe he's figured something out. If not, no worse for wear.Dermody definitely seems like a guy you'd love to have stashed down in Worcester. Throws strikes and gets some swings and misses. Could be a valuable AAAA guy.
Brian Johnson with a bit more life on the fastball.Upon further evaluation, dermody is someone with good control but zero plus offerings and usually doesn't miss bats, per the boys at SoxProspects. Still, not a bad depth guy. Maybe he's figured something out. If not, no worse for wear.
So, Bon Scott?Brian Johnson with a bit more life on the fastball.
Not sure about the "life" part, but it's a long way to the top when you throw 88.So, Bon Scott?
Baseball is so shitty at this. Here's a concept:Today's game is at 6:05 against Puerto Rico. It is on NESN but not on MLB.TV. Looks like MLB.TV is not showing any exhibitions against WBC teams.
Throw in the postseason and you've got a deal.Baseball is so shitty at this. Here's a concept:
1) Pay one fee.
2) Watch all the games in one place/on one ap.
I'd even take an a la carte option, please.Baseball is so shitty at this. Here's a concept:
1) Pay one fee.
2) Watch all the games in one place/on one ap.
They got to you my friend. Those are games too. There's no need for a seperate bucket.Throw in the postseason and you've got a deal.
Im not sure if OTA is helpful to young fans these days.I remember when I was a kid. I just turned on channel TV 38 one day after school to watch my favorite cartoons and the Red Sox game was on. Just watched the team and fell in love. I know NESN must be real profitable, but you think they throw a few weekend games on OTA networks for young fans to discover this great game like I did. Not every family can afford cable or streams.
It isn't. Finding a way to break into their algorithms is the path to young fans "discovering" the game. Which is probably why every team has accounts on every social media platform there is.Im not sure if OTA is helpful to young fans these days.
It's that Vazquez. It's a position that's a bit lacking on their roster.Christian Vazquez at 1st, or is that another Vazquez?
Agreed. I think Will is very solid.I don’t mind Monaco and Middlebrooks.
