Russ may have at the very least come close during his sicko OKC years especially that one when he has a bunch of 40pt triple doubles. I don't know if they have game by game assist data from early on in Oscar's career but he's the other who could have challenged Jokic's 27/16/15
The closest you really I could find in Oscar's 1961-62, his triple-double average that seemed forever impossible to duplicate is within his first four games that season: 30.8 PPG, 13.0 RPG, 14.8 APG.
This is oddly not his season with the most 40 point triple doubles that season, in which he had 4 (ditto the year prior). His most in a regular season was 5, in 1963-64. It's notable to me at least that all of them came beginning in his 47th game that season, out of 79 played. Over those 32 games in which he had the five games, Oscar actually didn't average a triple-doubleoverall: 34.1 PPG, 11.9 APG, 9.8 RPG.
Last player with 27.3+ PPG, 16.7+ RPG, and 15.0+ APG in any three-game span? List of one before now. Wilt in March of 1968, incredibly on a back-to-back-to-back, from March 18-20. Final three games of the season too. 33.7 PPG, 25.3 RPG, and 15.0 APG.
The historian in me feels the need to mention the happy ending that we knocked Wilt's Sixers out in the first-ever NBA 3-1 series comeback that year and beat the Lakers in the Finals for the sixth time in six Finals matchups for the cherry on the sundae.
