I mean, Baltimore just won two weeks ago at SD, 22-10. that includes a fumble return for a TD by BAL, so 16-10 of offense.

San Diego has really adjusted on both sides of the ball, although I think their playcalling has been kinda shit and they should have a TD or two.
What is really interesting is SD is stopping the run with light sets. They aren't using extra DL and are missing their best run stuffer in Mebane.

Haven’t we crossed over to 2019?
The NFL playoff dates are always a mess. Is it the season the games where played? Is it the year the playoff game is played? It's usually the season. For example, the Pats won the 2016 Super Bowl. It was played in 2017.

This game has done nothing to convince me we should want Baltimore over the Chargers in Foxboro. When the Pats lose in the playoffs, it's usually because Brady and the offense gets shut down (it's why the Ravens have come into Foxboro and given us 2 of the 3 losses we have since 2000 in the playoffs). The Ravens defense has been put in one bad spot after another today, and they've kept them in the game. They are really, really good.

I'm so much less worried about our defense against these two teams. If we play the Ravens, BB will do what San Diego is doing and stack the box and force them to win by throwing. If we play the Chargers, we'll see the same defense we've seen against Minnesota, Green Bay, Pittsburgh this season, where we dare the other team to run the ball, and not give them anything through the air. I think the Pats defense will be fine next week.

Bosa and Ingram don't worry me. When is the last time an edge rusher gave us problems? BB schemes for that, he'll bring a tight end in to double, he'll chip them with the running back, etc. It's the teams that can get a rush up the middle that gives Brady fits.

Putting a year on seasons, yeah, but specific games, if you’re going to add a year to the date, you have to put the year the game was played.

Ravens are a team with no margin for error given how anemic their passing game is with Jackson, and they’ve allowed two big returns.

Not to mention the fumble inside their own 20.

If San Diego doesn't score a touchdown here, there is no doubt in my mind they lose this game when Flacco comes in.

What a big drop.

Chargers realy have squandered a TON of chances to put up a lot of points. I don't know that Balt will come back, but agree with DOTB they've opened the door in a major way

Jackson coming in. This has to be his last series if they don't do anything?

Bill better not be playing the kick to the 1 yard line next week.
I just said the same thing to my son. I hope Bill is watching this, and finally realizes you can't kickoff short under today's rules.

And look, the Baltimore defense made a play. San Diego has nobody to blame but themselves if they blow this.

Lotta football left. Commit to the run here and BAL still has a good chance.

Feeley blames the hold rather htan the snap. Looked to me like snap was a bit high and hold wasn't good either

Gotta go flacco. Last sack wasn't jacksons fault but his lack of production on 1st and 2nd down leads to those 3rd and longs where LAC's pass rush can take over.

Going to be worst case scenario for the Pats. Flacco is going to come in, lead them back to victory, and we're going to get the Ravens with Flacco in here next week, instead of the Ravens with Jackson, or San Diego.
