I'm hoping for great theater tomorrow, but I'm afraid it's more likely that Rory pulls away.

I feel the same way. Like you, I hope I'm wrong.

What has to scare the field today is Rory had a mediocre round, and hit a ton of bad shots today, and still posted -4.  Obviously a lot of the leaders probably feel similar in that they all know they could have scored better the way the course was out there. But anything is possible from Rory

He was basically treading water and then he birdied 3 out of the last 4 holes to make somewhat of a statement.

10 minutes seems a little overly optimistic. #6 green is  completely under water.

Yeah, it's a deluge. The course will drain but it's going to take another hour. Shucks.

Someone is going to put up a crazy number today.

Jimmy Walker and Ernie Els both -4 through 7 so far and looked like both close to the pin on 8.

It may take -17 to win this.

Another?  I assume you are talking about Rory at +2, although he's probably going to birdie number 7 right now after that absurd chip from the short side over the bunker.  I'm shocked he's not scoring so far and the field has gone by him the way it has.  Both Stenson and Fowler look to be in complete control of their game right now, making par look very easy and giving themselves a look at birdie on every hole.

But if I was laying money right now, I'd put it on Phil.  This is a Major and guys who win majors tend to win them again.  It's got the look and feel of another magical Phil moment.

Phil is going to miss a 5 footer on one of the later holes and that will kill his chances.

Can someone shut McCord up?  The drama is in the silence as the ball approaches the hole.   Dude's a know-it-all.
